She'll be shielded, especially since Yuzu will be there to divert Japanese media attention, and Plushenko would probably back her up (he's commented quite a bit about her mental toughness). From now until FaOI, she doesn't have that much time, and she could give the excuse of needing to be in Japan to just high tail out of there. Then July, Augusut she's got off season practice and new choreography if she ends up in Canada (and TCC could restrict access). September the season starts. She can figure out a way to reduce media footprint. Edit: honestly, if I were her, I'd give nice, polite diplomatic interviews, cursory ones. And just let Eteri rave and rant. That amount of noise against polite silence is more telling than anything, at some point the FS community will roll their eyes (at Eteri not Med). Edit 2: and ya know what, I'd just focus on making sure my results are still good, top 6 or so so RusFed has no reason to drop me, and if Eteri gets too nasty, ask RusFed to politely let me transfer to a different club. At that point, the 1.5 years with BOrser for results should be done, and checkmate.
