Judge 7, you need to have your eyes checked. Three 8+ in PCS for Sui/Han? At least those got thrown away.

She's pretty harsh to others as well. She gave T/M 8 for transition when everyone else gave 9s.

I assume that Candyman is T/M's free skate?I really only follow Sui/Han in pairs and this year in particular I've watched minimal pairs skating,so from the little I've seen from T/M in the past couple of years they don't really look like OGM material to me.OFC that anything can happen,but to me personally is a bit surprising since i've always considered S/M to be Sui/Han's main rivals for OGM.As for turandot,I think that more modern music is a better fit for Sui/Han than classical pieces,but that's just me,as I said I'm not very savvy of pairs skating

 

I overslept everything.trying to catch up. And from what I've seen so far  : wow  what an event it was. Everyone pretty much killed it. S/H  is in the league of their own,don't even get me started on it or I'll cry from being too emotional. I have never paid attention to T/M   but this is the second time in a row and both in these OG they are so good that they 've grown on me  immensly.  Solid ,beautiful.  Praying the rest of the competition will be as clean and exciting as the pairs SP 😊

Yes, it is. And don't look it up before the event. Spare yourself the pain.

And in this field, if were to look at all pairs skating cleanly, then they are definitely lagging behind S/H and S/M. Their second mark should never, ever be that close to S/H when both these pairs are clean. I like T/M just fine, I have them down for bronze, though of course, now S/M are in a mess thanks to that pop and we'll have to wait and see how that pans out. The trouble is that there should have been a wider margin between the 1st and 2nd.

I've heard s/he is German (and by the scores s/he gave S/M compared to other judges and other pairs, that would make sense), can anyone confirm?

More importantly, will s/he judge again in FS?

This is more problematic than Zu's skating 1st in SP.

As for nationality bias, at least be more subtle about it, you know. It's embarrassing and I am so cross with myself for being too sensitive to 2nd-hand embarrassment.

 

If injury/illness for S/H and S/M puts Candyman on top of the podium I may have to give up my rediscovered interest in pairs til next season.

I can't believe the gap between S/H and T/M is so small, why do I have to go to bed with a nightmare scenario in my head  

 

 

I just want S/H to have their olympic moment after all they've been through  and S/M to have a redeeming free skate too, because their free is so gorgeous and I want casual audience to fall in love with it

why do T/M have to skate to Candyman? I like them way more than D/R but yeah, the thought of candyman winning the OG is kinda cringey

(And I'm still missing S/K, so strange not to see their names among the entries. Oh no, now I'm sad I need more Yuzu smiles to cleanse my soul before pairs fs)
