in terms of overall scores.

oh dear... I'm sorry for Tomoki, I liked him a lot!

The top 6 in each discipline will get into JGPF. Red qualified, blue are substitutes.

He didn't have a very good first outing, which lowered his total score a lot.

Yes, same and truly rotten luck. He's 2nd substitute too. But I guess Savosin is the unluckiest there, he has the same number of points as all of them, and not even a sub.

Also if the ladies could please do me a solid and not make me do quick calculations, that'd be lovely

Matteo has the second highest fs score, higher even than Krasnozhon and his quads. He might have a nice future, coming from a small fed, if Ivan Righini retires.

I'm so happy that Mitsuki fulfilled his goal, to be in the same competition with Yuzu!!  And I also like Makar Ignatov very much! Congrats to all the qualifiers!

By the way, Makar is skating soon at Cup of Nice if anyone wants to celebrate him getting into the JGPF.

Actually, considering they sent him to Nebelhorn over Ivan where he did the job, he is already in a good place. If he can skate like this at Italian Nats, he may actually say hello to the Olympics.

It is nice to see that quality is still rewarded for the juniors. If only the judges do the same with the seniors as well (no quad bonuses please)

Yata, the reserves should actually be Joseph, Luc and Roman because Tomoki actually loses the first tiebreaker, which is highest placement. I completely forgot about that. The other three guys got a 2nd place but Tomoki got two 3rd places so he loses the first tiebreaker, regardless of his total points.

Why did they send him to Nebelhorn over Ivan, does anyone know? They also sent him to Worlds over Ivan so I assumed Ivan was injured. Not gonna lie, I missed Ivan's +3 GOE face and impeccable taste in costumes. Not that I have anything against Matteo at the Olympics, that program is da bomb

Because he was in much better form. They were both at Lombardia and Ivan was all over the place; Rizzo had some 25 points over him in FS alone IIRC. I think probably close to 40 overall. Ivan didn't even crack 200. I remember because at the time, I talked about this possibility and then later on it was announced. Same was with Joshi, and then she too was replaced.

@xeyra sheesh, you're right, I totally forgot! Well rotten luck indeed.

the girls are starting soon... gosh, this is going to last until...?
