So Roman just proved that quads don't mean everything.

I really like Mitsuki, Tomoki, Matyas and Kai Xiang :tumblr_inline_mqt4gvxxtJ1qz4rgp:

Just saw Mitsuki's performance. Amazing! I love his cleanliness in jumps, I love the little moments of interpretation he got, even though I'm sure he can do even more. The jumps were well timed, so nice job coreographer. All in all, I enjoyed it very much! Brilliant!

Also, beautiful spread eagle with change of edge :10636614:

LOL the Russian forums are going mad!

Even more despair about their junior men than usual?

Three quads losing to a quadless program? That's a riot!

I totally missed the last group but I have just watched Mitsuki's free skate and I loved it too! The overall quality of his skating is very good. And yes, the spread eagle at the end was beautiful. :smiley-love017:

Are you expecting Russian whistles or just happy for the podium?

I'm just happy - I really loved Mitsuki's skate today. Apart from the second 3A, everything was excellent and deserved +GOE. And he had choreography, ffs :)

And I don't like the direction Roman is travelling in - ok, quads are good, but can you be a bit more gradual about them? Look at Kovtun - did they bring him any luck?
