Honestly, I've only been around since Dicember, and I've already done this up-all-night-for-livestream 3 times already. I guess being a figure skating fan is tough on Europeans :rofl:especially since GPF and NHK are coming...

Think about the Olympics and weep...

Now that I think about it, they don't do live tv coverage of Olympics, do they?

A live Olympics television stream with Max Ambesi and Dolfini's live comments... I could die right then and there.

I see.. so do you know if passing level 8 makes any difference?

When I saw this the first thought that came to my head is Naruto, yeah I don't know why..

I read (in fans' blogs, had never seem actual JSF documents) that because passing level 8 test isn't compulsory (you only need level 7 to be able to go at senior international competitions), skaters don't even bother taking it.

But there is no doubt any Japanese skater of international level can do it because even 3A isn't in requirements for men, just 5 types of triples and 3+3 combo (for ladies 4 different triples and 3+2).

Kozuka passed test in 2014.

They do, I think. They did live coverage of Boston Championship which was the most inconvenient time ever for Russia too..

Oh, wow! Let's hope it will happen again, then. In the meantime, I just learned I have work tomorrow morning, two hours after the livestream ends. Oh, well. I will go to bed very early :hachimaki:

TV rights for Niigata show belong to Fuji TV branch local channel.

There is no announcement about planned broadcast, and previous years shows from Niigata had never been aired.
