How did it work for you guys btw?

I was already at the site 15 mins before, but the link for buying tickets wasn't there yet.

When the clock struck 10am, I refreshed the page.

Do we need to refresh the page? Or should I have just waited for it to refresh automatically?

My page refreshed itself, pretty quickly, but not fast enough!

Should we say something to the ISU about this?

I'm a bit hesitant to complain about the Japanese system of selling tickets. They are all really lovely fans over there and they are really enthusiastic about FS.

But I dread to think if it will be the same during Worlds.

They should give foreign fans more of a chance to get tickets too.

I pressed the buy tickets link again and now the calendar says Friday is sold-out, but the other days say tickets currently unavailable.

Absolutely! I was very lucky to get arena SP for NHK but how can I justify spending thousands to travel to Japan for a 6min warm-up and about 5mins of SP and k&c? I will have to risk resale tickets to make it worth it and that's scary.

They really don't care about foreign fans. I think they're just going through the motions.

Saaame. I'm actually going to be in Japan in time for NHK but without any tickets, and now that I didn't even try to get anyone's help for GPF, I got one ticket. \o/

Are you gonna look into buying for resale?

I forgot about this again. Well, I don't have much hope in going, anyway. :13877886:

You know, for NHK maybe not. I'm aiming for Olympics now that I got at least a gala ticket and then I got this ticket so I might try to get day 2 tickets for GPF, otherwise I could not justify to myself going to Japan again after just being there in November.

We should. Japanese fans get the opportunity to fairly buy tickets to international competitions and they all somehow manage to fill the front rows so we should get the same consideration. For those of us in he southern hemisphere, Japanese competitions are our only chance to watch FS live without 24 hour flights and ridiculous airfares.

I guess there are some transactions have not be closed for other days, but Friday is totally completely definitely gone:volcano:

I haven't booked flights yet so I may switch to going to GPF if I can get an FS ticket for that. I'll have to wait until the lottery is over but if you're interested in swapping your arena SP for my NHK arena SP let me know!

With my luck at getting tickets, even if I got through to the paying page, my CC company would probably refuse the transaction since it's from an unfamiliar place

Yes, maybe an email or two wouldn't be too remiss.

At the least it will make the JSF aware of the frustrations of foreign fans, and hopefully they will do something about it.

:sadPooh: I would gladly do it! I think my family would think I'm crazy if I go back to Japan for one event and THEN go to Korea two months after hahaha

If anyone wants to write up something that we could all send that would be great! I don't trust my emotions not to get in the way.

Same here! That is the reason why I had to wire payment to Russia from Canada for COR tickets because I was not able to proceed with my CC:xD:

I was able to add 1 section B seat for December 9th, no men's event, but if anyone wants it I have 11 minutes to check out. Let me know now, it's 8,000 yen.
