I can't believe the first Hachinohe show starts this Friday  Excited for another wave of fan reports, and hopefully lots of media photos and news clips.

 

Also, I see that the Prologue online store listing for the blanket (which will also be available for sale at the Hachinohe shows) has been updated. Initially I remember there were only two images posted (CGI design of blanket + tag image), but at some point they added four more photos of the actual blanket.

 A part of me wishes to get to see the current Yuzu skating all of his programs (seeing young Romeo was ), with live music, with mapping, with video interactions, with whatever comes his mind. Yuzu would have one-man ice shows for at least 10 or 15 years lol

But another part of me wants to see him exploring all the new possibilities that his abilities and imagination can create. Itsuka owaru yume is a beautiful example of this.

I confess, I would prefer to see fewer programs but skated completely from beginning to end (perhaps with less jumps or omitting the quadruples to prevent exhaustion and injury to his leg).

For instance, the "Spartacus" program (which he skated in 2004 in Hong Kong) has such beautiful music at the beginning - the Adagio from Khachaturian's Spartacus ballet, a longtime fav of mine - but he generally skates the latter part of a program when he presents only part of it, and he did so with Spartacus too at "Prologue" ..... and I missed that beautiful first part.

But Yuzu can do/skate anything he wants, it will be beautiful anyway 

 

Prologue really tells us all about Yuzu's skating journey and a clue for what he will do next.

Yuzu is almost certainly going to explore new programmes, experimenting with choreo, story telling etc. Equally Yuzu also understands that existing programmes are very popular with fans but also importantly they been the foundation from which he is launching his professional career. 

Creating and producing new programmes is time consuming form concept to performance, so it would be very demanding to have a show based entirely on novel programmes. There will most likely be a mixture of beloved favourites and new presentations. The Q and A session was an interesting interlude and certainly a one man show will need breaks from Yuzu skating the entire show. 

A musical interlude with whichever artist accompanying Yuzu would be a good way to allow Yuzu to have short break and allow the musician to showcase a performance.

 

Like some of you have mentioned, when Hachinohe performance run is completed there will hopefully be some more photo packs and other performance specific merchandise. Maybe some of the other out of stock goods will be restocked as well.

After the opening of the Prologue channel on YouTube, I was wondering if, perhaps once the tour was over, we could enjoy a new version of Itsuka owaru yume in terms of camera angle.

Time to camp in front of the movie theater, right? Although the bloodbath probably takes place mainly online - Knowing that people will be lining up outside cinemas everywhere for a ticket... not to watch a movie.

Even knowing all the madness about Yokohama, the overwhelming success of Prologue still seems a bit unreal to me. That there are still those (anti) who doubt Yuzu and his popularity is absolutely ridiculous.
