Oh, i definitely don't want Nathan to be gifted gold. I just want Yuzu to win so decisively that Yuzu's antis will be forever shut up.

In a better world, that should be the case, but we are not living in that world, sadly so.

But maybe, just maybe, if the judging panels for the IEs suddenly wake up...

yeah but you could argue Yuzu only won Sochi because Patrick screwed up, but at the end of the day, he won and that's what people remember. like no way you could get me to trade Yuzu's Sochi gold for clean skates from Yuzu and Patrick and Patrick winning

didnt Yuzu also screw up the fs? he just had higher bv. also i believe if Yuzu and Patrick both skated clean Yuzu would have won

lmao my japanese judge here gave Nathan 113, the 2nd highest score. you, my friend, committed treason

Have they ever not be USA proxy?

lol I decided I couldn't watch live because even though Yuzu isn't skating the scoring will probably give me an ulcer. I guess not breaking the Chopin WR means they didn't go totally ham on the GOE, but close to 48 PCS is so inflated. So overall, it doesn't seem to be a worst case scenario for Yuzu wrt to the judging, but also not a great scenario either, which I guess is not entirely unexpected.

Guess we wait on protocols now.

You all are much nicer than me, lol. I know Yuzu's ideal scenario is to win when everyone is clean, but I'll take Nathan screwing up and Yuzu winning over Nathan due to Nathan's mistakes over Nathan being gifted gold.

Don't worry, i'm never nice when it comes to nathan and would gladly see him splat if it makes clean Yuzu win.

The scoring has really made me bitter and if that's what it takes for things to be more fair then whatever

This is the first time I see Nathan's SP, and I don't think the program itself is boring. It just doesn't suit him at all. The first half looked so... tentative. Like, you could tell he was doing what he was supposed to, but not with the confidence with which he skates that dance... thing... in Rocketman, and his movements just looked kind of awkward. If Roman skated that program I think it'd be quite beautiful, for example, with his wonderful skating skills and beautiful lines.

Agree with your comment!

The state of this sport is so sad, how is it normal that we are celebrating someone like Nate getting ONLY 48?:13877886:

I think Shoma should've gotten the higher PCs tonight, I can't believe Nathan's SP almost broke the WR! I'm also currently questioning J2 who gave Nathan a 10.00 for 'Interpretation of the Music'.

Yes, but Patrick Chan was the beneficiary of a considerable amount of inflation and idk if the judges would have given it to Yuzu had both been clean. Maybe.

Is the JPN judge judging the individual event too?

Dunno, is there any website where we can check?

both screwed up 2 jumps but bc yuzu had such a lead in the short and his higher bv gave him an edge. maybe patrick would have won the free if they went clean but yuzu's sp lead would take it. given the way they were scored at that event and at gpf Yuzu's ceiling scores were already beating Patrick's. but i get what you mean. many have likened Nathan's situation to Yuzu's back then but we all know its not an apple to apple comparison. bc Yuzu was already a complete skater at 19 and other than skating skills he had all the edges over Patrick. oh well at the end of the day we all agree we want Yuzu to be the winner

ah so its confirmed she is a shoma fan too bc she actually gave him 5 points more than his average score and she actually have him higher pcs than nathan's. lmao when will Yuzu...

i really dont think rondocapu is at chopin's 4cc level at this point but if any program should break wr it should be a clean rondocapu

Well she is. The only JPN male skater she is not a fan of is probably Yuzu.

imagine there is a blind audition for figure skating lmao

Not gonna happen LOL, how else are they going to dunk Yuzu?
