These girls have been thru hell it's telling that Sasha's anger is clearly directed at Eteri and not the judges, or Anna, or herself, or anyone else...
February 18, 20224 yr So, they allowed Kamila to compete because not doing so would cause her "irreparable harm." I think what happened today caused potentially more irreparable harm. Obviously to train where she does, and thrive how she has, she has to have mental fortitude, but this is awfully hard to bounce back from. I hope she realizes that much of the anger around the world directed her way is not at HER, but at her coaches, their system and training culture, and whichever adult it was that decided she needed to take banned substances. Sometimes when you're in the middle of the storm you may not see things from the outside.

I'm happy to take this conversation to private chat (or under spoiler).

There has not been any further explanation anywhere, just speculation, so let's take it as it is: She was very disappointed and emotional when that happened; and she did not have her emotional support with her. I don't know if we will ever find out why she said so, but it was sad to witness.

Yuzu doing a +2 hour career best-of medley at the Olympics sounds very on brand. With Boyang and Bing Dwen Dwen as DJs 18 hours ago, Yuzurella said: With Yuzu, one just never knows... There's a reason we call him Trollzuru. He's totally trolling us. It's always a roller coaster ride with him. He already owns these Olympics. Yuzu, lord of chaos: Hehehe... Trollzuru out in full force omg. Also petition to replace the gala with just Yuzu. Just him. Give him 2 hours to skate whatever he wants. (Side note, I'm so happy that he seems to have some spark in his skating at the practices, he looks like he's actually enjoying himself)
February 18, 20224 yr Ioulia Chtchetinina's Instagram post: https://www.instagram.com/p/CaGmzVup5am/ Quote Dear friends • Unfortunately it is true. After having some equipment issues last week we finally traveled to Beijing yesterday and were excited to finally compete until we got the news that Mark had an unclear result at the airport, that was later confirmed by another positive covid test. • There are no words to describe my feelings. We had a long journey to this games and I‘m extremely heartbroken that it ends this way 💔 • #olympics
