Yuzu, just do your cool down routine only please.

If you have no intention to retire yet, don't make your body (Hi swollen ankle) force you to.

Seeing the video with Yelim, I just remembered Yelim was held responsible for anti-doping violation when she was 13 (!), and even though her tests were negative (it was about not being available to testing when she was selected), it was made very public - where were 'protected person' rules then?! ;/

Certainly the end of this sport is coming...

To be fair the protected person terminology still wasn't included in the WADA Code 2015 which was in force when that happened to Yelim in 2016. I think the terminology was introcuded in the new 2021 Code. Correct me if I'm wrong. I didn't like how they treated Yelim at that time because she was a minor though ISU emphasized her age didn't play any role at all.

But some people especially on twitter try to argue the protected person rules weren't used in Yelim's case which is simply...not true.

Ultimately the real issue is that she's being treated under different rules than other senior skaters would be. If the rules must be different for under-16s, then under-16s shouldn't be permitted to compete in seniors

Yeah, that's where the problem lies. It will be another reason to raise the senior age limit this summer. No surprise ISU submitted a proposal to raise the age limit just a week ago right before the scandal broke out lol.

I didn't know practice notes that don't include 4A could be so stressful

At this point, I think he wants to go worlds. Uno and yuma practiced their full contents and new jumps before yuzu appeared. Maybe he was motivated too.  Just hope he won't push himself too much and find a proper standard.  Do you know Orser or Tracy is still in Bejing?

So what is he skating to? No mention of music though I read tenchi music was played yesterday?

I mean, the worst public practice injuries he's had were actually on 4Lz and 4Lo :13877886:
