I absolutely just want him to land that 4A at his next competition and get the fuck out so that I could also get the fuck out. There is absolutely no way to enjoy this sport ethically anymore. Corrupt judging has always been a staple in figure skating. Fine. I'll just scream into the void about fake medals and fake scores. But this? With this decision, they are just actively encouraging the abuse of young athletes. "Hey, just drug them up while they're a minor and we'll let you get away with it!" And saying that one of the reasons for allowing her to compete is that it'll cause her "irreparable harm"? Pfft. If Kamila wins here, people will always see her as the skater who doped. If she flops (which will undoubtedly be due to the psychological hell she's going through), she will be eaten alive. And what about the clean skaters who will be robbed of their Olympic moment if Kamila's medals are stripped? How discouraging must it be to compete with skaters who've been on PEDs this entire time? Skaters whose tech you were told you needed to catch up to, otherwise you don't stand a chance at beating them? And this most likely extends wayyyyy back. How many children has Eteri abused? How many clean skaters have been robbed of medals? I remember Rika, saying that looking at her scores felt like she was being told she wasn't good enough and that she needed to do more and more. This amazing skater has a 3A and an amazing 4S in her arsenal, but where is she? Injured. But hey, perhaps if she just doped herself up and was given smelling salts, she'd be able to bear through the pain and miraculously start landing her jumps like Anna and would be at the Olympics right now. Don't get me wrong. I know Anna and Sasha did not test positive, but right now, there is a big "what if" for all Eteri (and dare I say, all Russian) skaters, and it's more likely than not that they, too, are being drugged. It just frustrates me that there are absolutely no winners here except for RusFed and Eteri. Every single figure in this sport who've encouraged this woman's training methods are absolutely complicit in this. The sad part is, that "every single figure" includes nearly everyone at the top, nearly everyone with any ounce of influence. This sport has been dead for a while, but this just put the final nail on this cursed coffin. A cursed coffin for a cursed event. How fitting.

February 14, 20224 yr Came back to news about the decision and wow... It's funny how they pretended that this is to protected the athlete. They've abandoned all of them a long time ago.
