It was barely 3.5 rotations. Nevermind, I just saw Jackie, the mouth piece of USFS, saying the same lolllll Interesting though, this shows that they are all scared of Yuzu finally landing 4A. So they are trying to play it down lol. Breaking news to them: only Yuzu is able to land this jump according to the true expert aka GOAT Kohei.
January 9, 20224 yr I thought Artur's attempt was pretty decent. Obviously it wasn't completed, but really, any attempt where someone doesn't fall flat on their butt is a good attempt... and he got his right foot on the ice facing almost the proper direction.

January 9, 20224 yr My heart hurt so much after saw nathan score at us national. Im just a newbie as figure skating fan but im feel very insulted.wtf is that? Are they making fun of nathan or did they think we are blind? Why no one do anything!! Yes i support yuzu with all my heart but the ISU literally making clown of nathan. For what?? So that people think that US has the best skater in the world? Other skater work hard to improve their skate(yes nathan too) and yet they easily give +goe like that to skater who they want to win. Bruhh. When i watch yuzu at national i feel like ISU already make plan to give nathan higher score than yuzuru at US national and that exactly what happen.

Yes, they are obviously playing a mental game. I’m happy that Yuzu tried it in nationals and had good close attempts there before Artur’s one (it's all just a PR show for him as an "american", he is not close and his 3A isn't even stable). This makes me believe that Yuzu is correct then. If he lands 4A in clean skates, he will win in the most historic way possible. And if they don’t give him the gold, then they are fcked themselves lol
January 9, 20224 yr Somebody check on MIshin's health. Didn't he say nobody was going to land it during his lifetime?
January 9, 20224 yr I just watched Artur's 4A in slow motion, and he's definitely still in the air after 4 rotations, I would say it's almost 4 1/4 rotations? BTW: New here ( though been lurking for quite some time), nice to meet y'all (:

I refused to watch any of the performances. I could just imagine NC telegraphing his jumps. As long as he doesn’t fall, he gets high grades of execution and program component scores. It’s a given. I didn’t need the aggravation. You didn't miss anything. There was nothing memorable except for his outrageous score.
January 9, 20224 yr TAKE OFF ONE REVOLUTION ABOVE TWO REVOLUTIONS ABOVE THREE REVOLUTIONS ABOVE FOURTH REVOLUTION (LANDING FOOT FACING FORWARD - if you look at take off this looks a bit short of 4 revolutions I think?) FALLS ON 4.5 So it was just over half revolution short and he didn't remain standing?? (2 hands down)

(2 hands down) And yet I think his was called < while Yuzu's was called << (am I the only one who thought Yuzu's was <, not <<?). I was still impressed, though! It feels more like a race now, which is exciting. But I feel Yuzu should be the first to land it and land it beautifully.
January 9, 20224 yr Nathan's spins are not worthy so many points. On the other hand Jason's spins are under scored. I cant deal with them.
January 9, 20224 yr Oh, no! Tracy has Covid! I hope she'll be fine. And I hope Jason didn't get it, too.
January 9, 20224 yr Here's a gif of the 4A attempt. It was landed messier than Yuzu’s and had a typical Axel entrance. Wasn't he the one trying it years ago in competition? It doesn't surprise me that he'd be willing to try it during nationals. I think it's good that someone else it trying it because it'll provide more data for Yuzu lol. But wouldn't be surprised if the US starts to hold this over Yuzu...
