My typical phone call this week: "Mom, sorry, do you have time to help me now? I'm in the shop and I have a crucial question: what is better to use for gingerbread house roof cover, marshmallow or sugar plum? I really can't decide!"

Finally me, buying not only marshmallows, but also 4 chocolate bars, 500 ml of whipped cream and huge packet of powdered sugar (because Yule log is a big deal to cook). And I still can't decide about the final menu for the NYE.

The main part, nobody makes me do this, I'm crazily enjoying all this shop rushing and extra cooking.  I wish, I would enjoy my studying and work that much.

It's okay, there's no reason or explanation for it.

We don't really celebrate Xmas in China...except my work teams since I thought hey, why not celebrate, it's the least busy time of year for us. This year, over the last weekend, I managed to bake enough cookies and sweets to feed about 100 people (my team's um...big). 2 days of baking, gone in 30 seconds. And so continues the rumor that my team is just weird...cause their manager brings in a truckload of sweets on Xmas.  I might need to buy stuff next year if the team reaches 200.

Wow, your patience is incredible: two days of baking! It's ok to be considered strange if everybody is a bit happier :party2:

Sighhhhh I've had important stuff to do that I pushed to the holidays and now I have not done a single thing off that list for the past.. lemme check... 5 days. Great. Sabotaging my own life as usual. (And yes. I have time, still, but I am enjoying this mindless fun too much to disturb it.)

Feel like now I really made my debut in figure skating: I sprained my wrist this morning while skating. I don't think this is dangerous because I still can move my fingers and I already took medicine and fixed my arm but now I worry about my NYE cooking. :13877886:
