A matter of personal taste and impression, I guess Let's stay with our own opinions I was blown away when I saw their program to Olafur Arnalds for example, I never though that sb will bring such a music to figure skating (that's a music close to me) and I think quite a few times their opened some gates to a new approch to music choices. Another one is Rachel Yamagata. Their choices are not so safe imo. And where I see a major avantage of them - they don't build a strenght of them as a team relying on the image of romantic couple, they skate as two strong individuals, each one with their own sense of beauty and charisma, but they can make it work perfectly as a team, even with some cotrasts between them. It's like a dialogue, ther don't have to play love roles.

It's like a dialogue, ther don't have to play love roles. Ok not so safe as for S/K that's for sure. But their FDs were similar between 2016-2019 imo. I saw them for the first time in 2014 in person, they were still a no name in their field but I remember I liked their FD. When you look at their programs in juniors and early seniors they had more versatility I think. They are fantastic at what they are doing and I enjoy their smoothness how they dance but I still find too samey in their FDs including their elements. And I when I saw them performing in person many times during those years I had the same feeling about this. But I hope they come back with two great programs and win the gold medal even if they lost the momentum. It'd be cruel if they couldn't win OGM with them being 4x World champions.
September 12, 20215 yr Kostornaya. A better dress today. But last year's was better. 3A< 3Lz 3Lo 2A The music cuts are awful! Summer and winter in one package. LOL 3F3T< 3FEu3S 3Lz< lost the landing, didn't jump the combo. Sorta meh so far, but the potential is there.
September 12, 20215 yr made me happy to see her do ok, esp the 3A, which is still a work in progress. Not a big fan of that program, but she does what she can with it. i just really, really want her to do well.

September 12, 20215 yr Alena - she doesn't own this program yet, very focused on jumps and got lost here and there but overall well done. Even at this stage when she;s not fully into I can enjoy her light technique. Costume- not sold by the cut of the dress and its decorations but those colors look good on her.
