His spin might be slower in competition but its rarely travel and he has no problem in hitting position. His speed and hand choreos during sit spins are gogeous His leg extension in camel spin is lovely too . Sometime I wish Yuzu should drop Biellmann but when he took it out (4CC, WTT), I felt like something's missing lol I shall never forget my sister's reaction to Yuzu's Biellmann at Nice: I was trying to make her understand why he is special and why I HAD to go to Helsinki and I showed her footage in chronological order: she was in awe of his intensity before the last step sequence, but at the Biellman she actually shouted: he does a Biellmann, too??? It really bawled her over, and she became a fan or, at least understanding why I am a fan Link to comment

Oh yes, I like the way he drop his leg right now. In the past its look like" enough rotations needed, finally I can get rid of this" lol. I would love if he can work a bit in transition between donut and sit spin during the 1st spin in the free :D Link to comment
Yatagarasu
You guys sure were productive today! Me too...I think it looks more fluid, more effortless now. Before, I always got the impression of how hard it must be to tolerate the tension, and I think, he is better at masking the effort of doing a Biellmann, which must be huge, i think.. Link to comment
unicorn
What I enjoy most about Yuzuru's spins is the arm movements and musicality, I don't think anyone else in the men's field currently competing pays as much attention to the musicality of his spins as Yuzuru does. Whether he's rocking out and pumping his fist during a sit spin in Let's Go Crazy, or the way he dramatically clasps his fist during his combination spin to a low note in Chopin, or seamlessly changes his positions to the phrases of the music as his Notre Dame de Paris TEB ex from 2013, there's always more things to appreciate than just positions. People have also spoke of the trade-off between hip flexibility (Jason, many flexible female skaters) and the quick, snappy rotation necessary for jumps, especially quads. It's a difficult balance. Especially the older he gets I would think! And yet it does look almost effortless now, thanks to the release. And I kind of get a little thrill how it's so unusual for men, pretty much one of his trademarks now. Link to comment
Murieleirum
Yuzuru pumping his fist to the first accent of each beat during LGC during sit spin is one of my favourite things ever. Also, I remember him saying in an interview that he worked really hard to get the tempo right there, and so it's a humiliation for him when he doesn't get max GOE for his spins. Link to comment

I mostly focused on ladies before and in my mind, only ladies do this position lol . I still remember after Nice, many people thought he would drop it next season,or when he's 20. But now, he's 22 and still do Biellmann and it even get better Link to comment

It's my favorite thing too, the arms and the way he moves with the music. Didn't he work on those with Bestemianova? She did a smashing job with that and of course, he's ridiculously talented (news at 11, I know...) Link to comment

ralucutzagy
This is the spin that I love the most! Arm movements on the music rythm, perfect positions and on the spot! Amazing! Link to comment
swanbeau
since he said he's focusing on all aspect of his skating, i'd really love it if he brings something new next season to his upright spins too, i dont want him to drop his biellmann though, unless his back hurts Link to comment
Yoa
I hope that next season Yuzu will only do Biellmann during important competitions. Better for his back. I would rather see it less often but for the longer period of time. And assuming that he was working with a spin specialist lately I can't wait to see how his other spins will improve. Maybe even we will see something new Link to comment
Yolo3a
Chopin is so chaotic for me as music and he made it look so ordered. As for spins, I love Patrick's spins. And arm movements. But Biellmann is what really sells Yuzu's spins. Link to comment
