One of the formative moments in my life as a fanyu was seeing a gif of the Vertigo hip roll at FAOI. Trashbag pants and all.

I've erased Vertigo from my memory but I will still say that I think Nanami-sensei's husband was trolling the kid (he suggested the hip rolls in the choreography) for always talking too much. .

Roman's also just a kid, only 17 (?). Imagine being only 17 and getting to share a podium with THE top guy in your sport. Roman was remarkably poised, under the circumstances...:)
