I love how it symbolizes how you feel for him as a fan. I share your viewpoint more to be honest. I like my skater as the best too. I loved that moment because to me, it represented well how Yuzuru gets in his ultra-competitive mode and I love that side of him so that avatar is my precious and I am not letting that one go. Im from oceania and English is my native language so I do notice your english sounds perfect so it always confused me hahahaha. 2 hours ago, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ said: Not to sound creepy but it's completely one-sided. Im not Japanese but I read your ID says Shi in katakana. Are you also Japanese 😆. Ive never actually seen a Japanese fan on english threads in Planet Hanyu so Im curious. I honestly cannot lurk in GS because I can't help stating my opinions. I only signed up for both GS and Planet Hanyu after PC olympics because I went to see yuzu live for the first time and I realized I might as well join a forum before he retires 😊 I finally learnt how to multiquote on mobile ♥ can i add that I cannot speak out honestly on Golden Skate because of the newsfeed system? Im not a Nathan fan but because of the refresh newsfeed system his news pops up constantly on the "All" newsfeed and I naturally read it. I think people who arent fanyus do this with Hanyus thread. They lurk and read them because it constantly pops up in their feed. The regen rate is fast. So hence I don't post my honest biases on GS scared that Shoma or Nathan fans may see it in their newsfeed. For example I cannot post Yuzu is better than Nathan and such on GS because of the newsfeed system. Do you guys do the same? Link to comment
savakyc
since next oly is in China, wouldn't they want boyang to keep the Chinese team? still stay with Chinese coaches, but also work with other team for better improvement, learning from their coaching? and it's not like brian has only one student to consider for... his other young athletes are definitely aiming at beijing. so it's not just abt how it will effect yuzu, but also the others. idk if the students have a say abt this (it's more like a decision from adults tho) but i believe the team will consider for them first. I just feel like he has so much more to offer than simply skating that I really look forward to see what he'll get up to after his retirement. Given who he is, it promises to be exciting in a way that's different from watching him skate. Because more than simply skating, it's also his character that has got me so fascinated. I mean, there's plenty of time for that after he retires, as compared to him actually competing so I'm not impatient but I don't exactly find the topic depressing like most do here, either. Quite the opposite, actually. But I understand most here are figure skating fans first and foremost so I guess I should just stop here. 6 分, cinemacoconutさんが言いました: Im not Japanese but I read your ID says Shi in katakana. WSYZ
5 hours ago, WSYZ said: Thanks for answering. I understand bitter anti-fans are hard to turn. I'm just curious if there are more rational and neutral anti-fans, who might initially not like his style but later like his improvement, or some bias anti-fans who might not like him before because he was dangerous to their favorites but now can appreciate his artistic and athletic sides along with his dedication to the sport. Reading GS threads, I see many people who are knowledgeable and have respect for other competitors there. Many are fans of several skaters through the years. I'm probably a little hopeful to look for something like that regarding Yuzu, because seriously, I'm just too amazed with him, I just think that surely he must have had a good effects and impressed even some hard critics to turn around. I'm new to this figure skating world, so I haven't gone through enough places to find proofs for my (silly?) belief. That's why I'm asking older fans here. Rereading my posts earlier today and I just remember 1 funny thing. The positive example of a "Yuzu anti who has finally admit to start appreciating him/his skating" I've been looking for all this time... I think I found one! I just never thought of that before! A person who I think probably didn't like Yuzu's skating style before. A person who is very bias and just didn't like him. A person who above all other fans fighting in bloody fanwar all these years, has a real personal and understandable reason to dislike Yuzu. A person who finally admitted to public they used to hate Hanyu Yuzuru. Here I found, Patrick Chan! He has eventually come to term with himself, and finally can watch and appreciate Yuzu's performances! If someone like him, who has every reason to dislike Yuzu (losing that Sochi gold to Yuzu definitely hurt a lot), can finally admit he see some great things in Yuzu or his skating, then my silly belief is not so silly anymore. I can really believe now that there must be other old Yuzu antis who probably don't hate him as much now and can see good things in him, because Yuzu is just that good! They probably just don't say it aloud Link to comment

The forum merges your replies if they're done within one minute of each other, but if you want to add a quote to an existing post i'm afraid you can't do that, sorry. But if there are various posts you want to reply to please click the plus sign on that post to add to the multiquote. @Danibellerika explains it here: On 4/16/2018 at 8:22 AM, Danibellerika said: Note from the Admin Team Hi Satellites! We've had an influx of new members lately which has been absolutely amazing. The more satellites the better to share in our love for Yuzu. I just want to address a house keeping matter to help the board continue to run smoothly for everyone in regard to double/multiple posting. If you are going to quote several posts at a time, please use the multiquote button which is the plus sign next to "quote". As you scroll through each page, if you click the plus for every post you want to quote, it will consolidate it into one post when you are ready to reply. You can reply by clicking the "quote # post" button that will show up on the lower right hand portion of your screen. Also, if you notice you are the last poster in a thread but you have more to add to the discussion, please edit your current post instead of making a new one if it is less than a day old. Here is a screenshot to give you an idea of how to do it: Thanks guys! also, i was banned from GS too. For trolling Link to comment
