  1. Every thread I visit now has your post as last post LOL!! I'm so OCD, I have to find something 'real' to post about, so I'm flailing around everywhere :-D
  2. Yes, 25) thank you! (gettin there!)
  3. ahhh I love your avatar :pbow: could he get any hotter? I would say NO but he is always exceeding our expectations, yes???
  4. Great photo! Look at his shadow on the ice! :pbow: LOVE these shadow pictures
  5. Bro! I miss it, too. I haven't been to forums for ages, and now it seems kinda difficult to catch up with everything and comment (I much more like reading lol). But we'll manage to get back! I know that :pbow: The purple bananalord is waiting for you HAHAHAHA
  6. Its 25 posts we need for Church now, right?? (sorry I think Im gonna have to start spamming)
  7. Say, anyone have any recommendations for how an english-speaker can learn Japanese? I don't need to speak it but would like to understand what Yuzu says, and also what is written (so have to learn kanji I guess?) I don't mind spending money on some program BUT I would like to try it and see if it seems doable before it gets too expensive...
  8. I want to marry Yuzu patching the ice after Finlandia trophy in 2012 (because I actually spoke to him then, so...!!!)
  9. I loved watching figure skating as a kid but I pretty much ignored it after high school. Thirty years later, Johnny Weir brought me back to that world in 2010- I didn't watch him skate at Vancouver but saw his reality TV show after, "Be Good Johnny Weir'. The channel was showing all episodes back to back and I quickly got caught up on FS and hooked on Johnny after seeing his Poker face, I Love You I Hate You and Fallen Angel performances. In 2012 I was lucky to be working in the UK for some months on a project, and Johnny announced he was returning to competition and would be skating at Finlandia Trophy and at Grand Prixs in France and Russia. The timing worked out perfectly for me and I could take a weekend trip from the UK to Finland to see Johnny skate. And there was Yuzuru! I had seen his FS at 2012 Worlds and was very touched by his performance. Seeing him live in Finland just blew me away. I knew he was going to be an Olympic champion, there could be no doubt about it. And Johnny was NOT going to be able to beat him, ever... But that was ok! The seed of my Yuzu obsession was sown and there was no turning back. I just won't ever stop kicking myself for not getting his autograph, I had a perfect chance after the competition when he was helping to patch the ice and there were almost no fans around *sigh*
  10. hahahaha how can anyone suggest he needs more PRACTICE! lol
  11. Ok, I'm starting to miss the Church... ugh, I'm better at lurking than posting but I guess I'm gonna have to work on it if I'm ever getting back :-)
  12. This made me realise how much intense Yuzurus I have in my life ahh... This is one if the happiest Zuzus I have though, feat. kitty ears. Ok that is adorable I can die happily now  Love it!
  13. Never understood patriotism either. My favorite team is Japan, I'm American. I am working on increasing my postings, up to number 17 now! Same same
  14. Good idea to give 5 votes, but still it's hard to vote and leave some out, I love ALL his costumes... But I think Notte Stellata will always have a most special place in my heart. I was at Skate Canada at the Gala practice session where he first revealed it and I literally gasped when I saw it. When I arrived at the practice the skaters were rehearsing the finale and Yuzu was wearing his practice jacket. He kept it on the whole time, which is unusual, so I thought maybe he just came for the finale and would not be showing his new EX number (I think word had just come out that day about the music he was skating to, so I was sorta expecting a swan-ish costume), especially when he left the ice with the jacket still on. So I kinda lost interest and stopped paying attention for a few minutes. Then I looked up, and he was skating RIGHT toward me in THAT costume!!! It's like I heard a bell ring in my heart...and it took me awhile to figure out why I reacted so strongly. It goes back to Johnny Weir and his Fallen Angel from Vancouver, and that skate (and Johnny) is a big part of what brought me back to the figure skating world, after an absence of many years. Well, Yuzu's swan seems to me to be an homage to Johnny, especially since the music is from Johnny's iconic 2006 Swan program as well. Another thing that was very memorable about that practice session- when Yuzu started to skate, all the others out on the ice stopped skating and went to one end to sit and watch. Multiple world champions were there- Duhamel/Radford, Medvedeva, Virtue/Moir- but HE was the only one they stopped to watch... #Respect Johnny's Fallen Angel https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=ht ... mrc&uact=8
  15. I hate those shoes hahahaha maybe it's necessary to use thoses, :rofl2: :rofl2: see the another in the behind person Can someone tell me what he was doing there? I don't know why the crocs, but I can tell you this pic is from filming of Magnificent Nine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Magnificent_Nine), I think he was noticing some bugs on the ground?? I've seen an english-dubbed version of the movie (showing on Delta airlines!) a number of times and I really like the movie... over and above the 3 minutes in which he appears :-) Yuzu's part is just hilarious though :-)
  16. hahahaha love it
  17. Awww, this is actually one of my most favorite moments from Helsinki! I can see myself in the background in part of it, with a dazed but happy look on my face hahaha,, it was so special to see him doing that, so close!!
