Yuzu didn't do -3Lo combos even when he had the 4Lo so I think for whatever reason he didn't train it then (probably because he was more occupied with dealing with the 4Lo/4Lz) he won't train it now either.

I think what also needs to be considered when discussing hypothetical layouts is how falls and pops are going to be punished more next season (in theory.... if I understand everything correctly) so it might not always be wise to go for risky jump layouts. I am curious to see what layouts skaters will come up with. I can imagine they might not max out difficulty in the beginning of the season to test out the waters and how the new scoring system will actually work and affect their scores- especially now that it's the post-olys season and the stakes are suddenly lowered

I prefer the only one quad repetition rule, honestly. I do think some negotiations happened behind the scenes seeing how there was no discussion about it at all?

I am not sure but wasn't that proposal withdrawn on the first day? To include all 6 types either the 3A repetition or one quad repetition would suffer so I don't see that rule being motivation enough to include the 3F (although I am not exactly sure how high the bonus would be)

The rule is just an amendment to the current zayak rule saying that two triples/quads can be repeated but only one of them can be a quad. Since there’s no ladies doing more than one quad it doesn’t really affect the ladies. Meaning they can still repeat two triples

Today I managed my first backspins on the spinner that had more than 2 revs and that I didn't fall out of! I just got too slow and had to stop spinning. I am not quite there yet but yay I had like 5 revs on one. Just when I started telling myself that I will never learn backspins I also did some regular spins but I'm scared to go all out on them bc of my ankle. Maybe not yet

I’m honestly cool in regards to how these new rule changes will affect Yuzu. I think some of these changes, even if they feel like they are targeting Yuzu, might end up playing to his advantage. Ngl I am even kind of looking forward to Yuzu finessing this new system

I can only speak for myself but I never even hoped any of those proposals would pass. The intention or motivation to improve biased judging doesn’t really exist And seeing the proceedings at this congress doesn’t really give me much hope either. I haven’t really watched much of it but I saw how the age limit proposal was voted off the agenda just like that without any reasoning. 4/5 majority, my ass.

So from the last few pages I get tl;dr: -The organization was a joke -Only last jump in SP/ last 3 jumps in FS get a bonus -Splitting of the judging panel was rejected -So did the increasing the PCS factor to 1.2/2.4 proposal (phew) -Japan withdrew the reward for 6 kind of jumps proposal that was actually passed? why?? Did I miss anything of importance? eta: -CDs are good. USBs might be outdated in four years.

Not sure yet. It makes sense to design a new one for the new season and maybe mention that he is a Two-time Olympic Champion
