LOL well that’s one side of the spectrum of people who wouldn’t call Yuzu the goat but then there’s the more informed and authorative side of the spectrum that doesn’t want to acknowledge Yuzu’s achievements out of personal/national interest. I don’t think we should give either side much attention. imo Yuzu’s goat status is undebatable and you’re welcome to call me a biased Yuzu fan

Who doesn’t consider Yuzu the GOAT now also won’t do it after the possible achievements you have listed. They’ll always find some excuse or another to evade doing it. He really doesn’t need to land quints, stick around until Beijing and win another OGM or even land the 4A to qualify for the title. He’s got two OGMs and all the WRs, how is that not enough? Isn’t it enough that he’s not retiring yet and setting his eyes on the 4A?

Sigh now I’m just sad. I mean, I get why it doesn’t lie in their interest to fix corruption and politics, it does seem a bit far fetched to expect that from ISU... but why make it worse? They can’t actually be hoping to fix the problem of corridor judging by these measures. It’s bs. Does the ISU even know their own sport? I wish they’d listen to what Yuzu has to say on how jumps are ideally an integral part of a program.

Luckily I wasn't around then but from what I understand this off-season is luxury compared to the 2016 off-season. C'mon, even compared to the drought and the uncertainty and worry between NHK and Olys this is just rainbows and unicorns. I'm super chill.

Oh, yeah i see what you mean. I worded that a bit weird! I am not saying at all that Yuzu didn’t want Boyang there or anything. That‘s definitely a stretch! I am also not saying that that’s the sole reason Boyang doesn’t want to go to TCC! Just maybe a single factor among many? I am sure the politics around it and Boyang‘s reluctance to adjust to a new country and language play a (bigger) role.

... I‘m sorry? It‘s not that I am blaming Yuzu or anything. Just stating that not all skaters are like Yuzu and thrive off of training with direct/ their biggest competitors.
