Because she is on vacation and suddenly feels like she wants to enjoy Twitter? So??????

This world is sexist like that. Like: “Be realistic, there will be no perfect man for you. Better get married to someone before you turn too old.” How about some people just don’t even care to look for anyone at all? It’s just that simple but it sounds surreal to some people. Med leaves her long time coach because of reasons she knows best and she’s a smart girl she will find a way to stay on top.

People should stop speculating whatever other skaters do on their own social media might have related to Yuzuru. They don’t live his life and they have their own lives. Let them enjoy whatever they like.

Will Chinese fed send Boyang to TCC permanently or it’s just summer camp? It depends on both Chinese fed and TCC. Will it be at TCC or just at Lori’a ice rink? The information is still so vague and it’s still not a done deal. If they don’t hit a deal or if they hit a deal we’ll have to wait for the summer to be over especially when they’re just all considering all options. Also, no coach and no skating club is for everyone. Just saying. Yuna left TCC. Adam Rippon left TCC. Nam Nguyen left TCC. Roman Sadowsky left TCC. Some people work well in a certain environment and some don’t. It’s not like TCC is a skating heaven for everyone. We should just wait and see.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. My friend sent me the list of the 66 cinemas that showed Continue with Wings live viewing, 4000 yen per ticket. http://liveviewing.jp/contents/cww/#venue_list It seems 64% of the venues sold very well, also the rest was not bad either. I estimated in total around 4000-5000 seats were sold for the cinema live viewing. But I do not know how many seats each venue has so it's all estimation. Some venues in my country had 250 up to 300 seats. But I only estimated based on a scale of 100 seats here. The arena had 9000 seats and was almost crowded in all 3 days. So in general, I estimate Continue with Wings sold around 30000 ~ 32000 tickets in total (both for live viewing and tickets at the arena). And I can not count the number of people who watched live through tivi and live stream.

Didier maybe: "Oh, the French medal stands out! My idea is the BEST!"

CoC was reckless but he had a goal he wanted to reach aka GPF.... so in a way, he was mostly driven by his ambitions... Slytherin all the way.

Highly doubt it. People don’t forget that ANA’s deal with Yuzuru might value many times more than the contracts that other skaters get with their respective sponsors. The contract ANA made with Yuzuru cost a lot in a way Yuzuru almost belongs to ANA. I remember someone said so in 2013 about that deal. It’s much more serious than other sponsors.

Proposed changes for next season

I can image judges throwing the tables around when they see the new set of rules. -

They will need a live calculator on screen or else no one will ever get what the hell is going on lmao! Like why Skater A get 10.871 and the other skater get 7,542 for the same 4T. -

Yeah I have read all of this and be like: ISU, do you know the current system is complicated enough, even the skating fans could not even get enough and now you guys throw out something even more complicated? Nice... -
So if you ask me, that Chinese judge who got investigated due to scoring so ridiculously at the Olympic, in a way his scores "helped" the US judge who scored ridiculously second. The US judge's scores were kept and she did not get investigated. We will never know what really happened, but I just find the Chinese judge so... weird? Like why did he act that way, it's easy to be picked up when your scores stand out in such a biased way. It's just not logical.

Also, big federations can have huge influence on small federations. For example Russian fed has much power over other small federations due to having huge numbers of coaches and specialists, even skaters to spare. Some Russians skaters might want to switch countries to get a chance to compete at WC and Olympics, some Europ federations need skaters to represent them, or they can get a deal with Rus fed by sending their skaters to Russia to train for a while etc... big federations have power like that. It’s the same with US and Canadian federations. Also, sometimes you only need 3-4 judges in the judges panel to help you out and that’s enough. One judge to score the appointed favorites the highest knowing this score will be thrown out, here will come the second and third judges who will score the appointed favorites the second/third highest and these scores will be kept, as the results, the average scores of the certain appointed favorites would be higher. Aside from all of that, the corridor for judges is too big so it’s easy for manipulation.

Medvedeva got away with big PCS and GOE margin was also because Russian Federation is super influential. If Yuzuru were Russian/Canadian/American, I am certain he would have been treated the same.

Yeah I think he can do shows in June and July. Maybe he will do shows in August.
-
His rehab is said to be 3 and a half month. I don't think he can do ice show in May.

Jeff and Todd are the co-founders of Yuzuru Hanyu GOAT support group in North America. Maybe they’re already sending their DVD collections of Yuzuru’s programs to Kurt.

It seems there is some interesting count how much time top skaters use for their basic skating and poses:

Yes. If you’re good at Flip, your Lutz might be not good. If you’re good at Lutz, your flip might be weaker. Even skaters have both Flip and Lutz aren’t really excellent at both. For example Liza Tuktamysheva, her Lutz is super and even though her Flip isn’t bad, it’s still weaker than her Lutz. Nathan is actually better at Flip than the Lutz. Alina Zagitova repeats both the Flip and Lutz, but even though her Lutz is not wrong, it’s not a really super Lutz either. Also, if you look at the BV, it’s reasonable for Yuzuru to train the 4A, 4lz and 4Lo. As the 4A and 4Lz have significant higher BV than 4F and 4Lo as these 2 have kinda same BV. If you can do the hardest jump which no one ever does, why not go for it?

Sorry I do not have time to read all your comments, as one fan among people who witness Daisuke-Patrick-Yuzuru time, below are my notes: - Yuzuru at WC 2012 should have won the free skate, and I am serious not because I like Yuzuru. I was not a big fan back then. But both Patrick and Dai did not do better than Yuzuru in the free IMO. - The result of WC 2012 is correct in my opinion. Yuzuru no doubt deserved the bronze as in SP he popped the lutz. Years after re-watching the competition, I have to say Patrick deserved to win that WC title over Daisuke. I'd say Daisuke had some scratchy landings too and his blade work was visibly weaker than Patrick. I have to note that Patrick did well enough in both programs to win IMO. Of course some people might prefer Daisuke but in my opinion, the results could go both ways but I do not think Daisuke was robbed. - The results of WC 2013 was a messssssssss. I think most people agreed Patrick did not deserve that WC title and he could have lost it if it were not in Canada. One could make a case where Yuzuru deserved the bronze at WC 2013 and I agreed. But I will not hang up on that. Poor Denis Ten though, he should have won that year WC. - If one wants to say Yuzuru in 2014 is similar to Nathan in 2018, I'd say it's unfair for Yuzuru. Nathan's programs in 2018 are filled with 2-foot skating and simple steps. When I tried to identify the top guys' skating transitions, my coach was like: "What Nathan does is figure jumping, not figure skating. Aside from jumps, Nathan's programs have almost nothing but 2-foot skating + simple footwork." And Yuzuru's programs at Sochi, even if they're not the best artistically performed, they're complex and full of difficult transitions. Yulena (the Russian blogger) intended to do an analysis of Yuzuru's Romeo 2.0 a long time ago with the remark like "It's such a crazily difficult yet so UNDERAPPRECIATED program." - If you know me, you know that I dislike that Juliet program and the boobskirt so much lol, but it's a very difficult program with so many transitions, I doubt most of the current quad guys can execute it well. I am not a fan of David Wilson but anyway I give credit where credit is due. His programs for Yuzuru indeed were very complex and Yuzuru was on a mission of finding his own style back then, I would not call they were disappointments. - Patrick has never been the best at talking. He often makes people feel offended. I think he even criticized Shoma and Nathan quite a lot for their too many quads. Yeap many times I do not agree with Patrick's attitude. But I think Patrick as a skater, surely he knows the effect of quads on the bodies. So yeah he might sound kinda full-of-himself many times, but we should not diminish everything he says. We should be more selective though. - And last but not least, about the Sochi incident, there has been a great video explaining the whole thing:

If there are debates over cutting 30 seconds in men LP, they might not cut it right away. The men do quads and need more preparation. They might still get 4m30 second. Takaranova is very raw and sloppy. Her jumps are big. But Alena Kostornaia's Axel seems better.
