    Yes, people say whatever they want as well and it's their personal accounts, right? Then why get so emotional over some personal tweets saying Yuzuru's 4S is one of the 2 ways that are correct? it's like: "No you must not say A to reply B just because of some bad comments." Most people not using twitter would just think ok it's a clear up of the technique debate.

    It is not about "why" of the love. It is about the technique. Even a non-fan of Yuna Kim should not say her lutz is wrong. Because her Lutz is one of the best. Also, as Laylou has stated, people here talk in English but many are not native-English speakers and many come from other platforms.

    Many people are new fans and don’t understand the technique right away. It’s not like the antis are many. But it’s better for the new fans to get used to the technique more often. Sooner or later some fans might ask “what about this technique?”. Frankly, I know many old fans who couldn’t identify which jump is which so...

    Believe me, judges know, it will become a matter if it’s Nathan or Vincent or any Russian/Canadian/US top skaters going into the next Olympics as the medal contenders. It’s just what happens in this sport, you’re not lucky forever. Judges always have a way if they want. People didn’t expect Alina to score up so fast, yet she did. If judges want, they have a way.

    Yuzuru can win Beijing Olympics if he stays healthy. But... he seems to be content with 2 Olympic gold, and his goal might be just landing the 4A in competition then retire and becomes a coach/instructor for young skaters. Personally I guess Yuzuru wants to retire at WC 2019 as it will be in Japan. His remarks to CBC interview seems to me he’s thinking of retirement honestly, that he feels if he leaves now, Japan men will be in good hands. Well personally I don’t think Japan men will be in good hands if Yuzuru retires. But that’s the story of another day, as you know, that kind of bad technique will catch up eventually.

    As many people seem not to understand the pressure Yuzuru has to face as an Olympic Champion, this interview with Adelina Sotnikova might show you what it feels like as an Olympic champion. I know many people don’t like her for her win at Sochi, but she’s actually a very good skater and doesn’t deserve hate. Here in this interview she’s very honest, what she feels might be what all Olympic champions feel. And this is why most Olympic champions retire after the Olympics. We should be grateful that Yuzuru has sacrificed so much to stay in this sport.     Junior get scored differently. They’re not throwing huge scores of the top senior to top junior yet. It’s not a rule but judges all do this.
