If you haven't voted/shared a message yet, you can find the links here. Can we maybe tweet about it as a "final call"? (we are so, so close to reaching 200 responses for the book ) Meanwhile, here is a final sneak peek into our early results. (I promise I'll stop harassing you with my graphs after). When asking fans to choose their top 3 favorite programs and costumes, we found a pretty strong correlation between the two. In general, the most favored programs also tend to have the most beloved costumes. Do you think there is a direct link between the two? And more importantly... Who sits at the top of both rankings? Which program defies expectations to reach the 2 second most favored costume? How well do your favorite programs do overall? Find out all the answers in a few weeks !! [insert evil laugh]

Dear fellow satellites, a little update on our fan survey & fan book: so far we have received about 700 responses for the survey and 180 for the fan book To celebrate, here is another sneak peak into our ongoing survey: becoming a fanyu makes people more likely to attend live competitions. "Duh", you may say. We all know of the rise of Hanyuconomy. But (!!) it is not just because of new fans. Even for people who followed FS previously, the percentage of attendance increases when following Yuzuru! In brief, I separated "long-time" figure skating followers (those who followed FS before becoming fanyus) from the "new" ones (those who did not follow FS before becoming fanyus), and both types of fans are more likely to attend a competition after becoming a fanyu. Post-Yuzu-long-time-FS-followers have the highest rate of all (~55%). If you haven't voted yet, or if you want to send something for the fan book, can still do so until the end of the week. A bit OT, so...

I just got a Wilson blade add on YouTube... with some short Yuzu PC clips (and Nathan & Zhenya). I don't skate (yet), but sure, I'll watch your add with pleasure. Not even skipping it. Desperate, me ? I guess the long night has truly begun.

The survey is really interesting. To the question, "what is your native language?", one person answered "German"... in Japanese What - why ?? Why do you confuse my poor little brain that is already battling with languages I don't even know? Still, seeing so many different languages is nice !

Sure, good idea! I can drop a few more graphs next week to remind people as well. Obviously results are changing a bit as more people reply, but it seems that the general trends are established already. I won't spoil the results too much but it is interesting to see

I've been thinking about this issue because one person mentioned in the survey that they were preparing a Yuzu-inspired free program (!) so I assumed they might record themselves? I'd love to include videos, but I'm not sure what is the best solution. A screenshot in the book with a link to the actual video in the legend? Embed the video in the pdf version? Either way, there has to be a digital version of the book to make it work properly. Or make a public folder with the videos and provide the link in the book? If anyone has a better idea, I'm open to suggestions. I love your decalogy idea. It seems like quite a bit of work, but it could be really great for both old and new FS watchers!

For those who might not know yet, we are organizing a fan book on the Planet! You can help us by filling this survey and/or share your experience as a fanyu + leave a message for Yuzu here (or here if you don't have a Google account). More details on the Fan Project thread. We'll keep the forms open until May 12. So far we had over 400 answers for the survey and over 100 for the book! The tweet really helped the promotion of the project, thank you again @yuzuangel (Before the beginning I was telling myself that it would be a success if we could have at least 100 replies overall) Here is a sneak peak into the sort of statistics that we are getting. Seimei seems to be the overall favorite program, followed by H&L and Chopin. You can vote to defend your own favorite programs

We were generous though, we went from a single choice in the draft version to top 3 pssh: you don't have to worry to much about Swanyu, it's doing fairly well so far.
