  1. Soooooo... turns out the "chammpion" typo comes directly from Yuzuru's own ISU bio page Why is it so bad at every level??
  2. The summary of the bio edit saga. It's a bit redundant with previous posts, but worth a look for the laugh. I don't even know why they bothered with the last round of edits to be honest. Not that they'll stop with the Boyang erasure but that's a separate battle...
  3. ISU editing keeps delivering. Notice also Dick Button, the Olympic chamMpion. Do they not even have autocorrect?
  4. The amount of tweets about 胸筋 (chest muscles?) today is crazy.... hahaha, fans are hilarious
  5. The plot thickens a bit because it seems the 4 missing sponsors were listed on the Stockholm website back in April
  6. Sorry I couldn't resist To me that says a lot about how much he cares about the awards. He put so much more effort in his "Vamos Javi" video. Even the Laureus one was better.
  7. Can't wait for the #YuzuSkatingParty next week
  8. I agree. A lot of companies were hit hard, so I wouldn't dare to make any guesses in terms of intentions.
  9. Sorry but I'll never buy that these mistakes and dubious choices are purely random when they are pretty much always in disfavor of Asian skaters. Butchering Yuzuru's name? Check. Forgetting & reducing his biggest achievements in his bio? Check. Boyang erasure about the "first 4-quad program" claim? Check. No nomination for S/H who have the best record of any skaters this season? Check. At best, it's microaggressions and implicit bias. I don't give 2 cents about the awards but it says a lot about the mind of the people working at the ISU.
  10. They corrected the name but not Jully
  11. Did we have "Yuruzu" in the name butcher bingo card yet?
  12. Wait, if we're all Japanese in disguise, does that mean we can order all that Yuzu merch then???
  13. Ha. Ha. Ha. ISU conveniently not mentioning PC gold and calling Yuzu a "4-time GPF medalist" in his bio for the awards. Anyone surprised at this point?
  14. Not from the Stockholm organizers. (They seemed as clueless as any of us.) I want to say it was from Ari or ISU. The tweet below is all I could find so if anyone has a better memory than me... My understanding is that it *will* happen again (sigh), the only question is where/when. (I'd love to be wrong though) If the next season is shortened though, it will be even less credible than this year.
  15. Yeah, right, no chance I'll buy an all-event ticket 10 months in advance with no refund guarantee in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. Who knows if we'll be even able to travel by then... Edit: didn't they already announce that there would be awards again next year?
  16. Happy Hakama Day everyone (also known as the day Yuzu received the People's Honor Award and blessed us with one of his best looks )
  17. Camden SCI vs Kevin GPF. Who had the best reaction?
  18. According to P. Hersh Jason is now back in Canada, though he teased that there is a story behind. Curious to see how that happened (but not enough to give him clicks on his upcoming article). I guess Yuzuru's location is even more anyone's guess from now on...
  19. There is something strangely poetic about fanyus crashing the JSF website just to see his updated profile page
  20. They have some really nice stuff (I love the towels) but they don't ship overseas. I guess we need a proxy to order
