as i understand it with roman, they also wanted quite instant results and that wasn't happening. i think its pretty clear here that the intention is to prime boyang for 2022 olympics, not to prime him for instant success and improvement by the beginning of next season.

quad monster sounds pretty hilarious when you consider boyang planned four all season and yuzu himself set out to have five quads in his free skate plus he has nothing but respect for yuzu, and has named him as a goal and an idol for years. he may come across and lighthearted and childish, but he isn't careless.

may i belatedly state my gratitude that boyang's self imposed social media silence is finally over?? new haircut... new career??

i dont really understand how the japanese ladies aren't as commanding? what are wakaba's programs if not attention catching, commanding, dynamic? flimsy justifications, they'd be equal or even better in most cases if judges marked according to the handbook.
