I'm sure it will have been notified via big Japanese media outlets if he did graduate. As far as I can recall, there were no articles saying he graduated. I think he is postponing graduation or is a bit late on schedule.

Anyone know when Yuzu is graduating from Waseda? I am guessing he took some time off from E Classes because he was busy with competitions. That's why he still hasn't graduated?

Hi guys. Yuzu is still in Japan I presume? Wonder if he is getting his costume ideas done whilst he is here, because he will have to do it before Faoi if he wants to reveal new programs there! I loved last season's costumes! 10/10 for the whole season. This season I am hoping for new colors! Something very RED!! I read an interview after 2016 Worlds, and he said he wanted to try Jazz, so maybe this season... hopefully Jazz or Tango.... I

Does anyone have that old interview link where Yuzu said he once visited Notre Dame Cathedral whilst he was at idF back in 2013 season? I remember reading it around 2014, but I can't find the link. He said he felt the presence of something higher in that interview, and I always thought it was a special interview, because I never knew he believed in a higher power. If anyone finds the link to that interview, I would really appreciate it.

Wow! Thanks for the info! I think if he lands 4A for the first time in history, that would also bring more international coverage and hopefully more fans! Media Coverages and press internationally are what brings new fans the most I guess. Also I think new Yuri on Ice fans from the new movie may bring a new wave of fans into the sport and for Yuzu too

There are so many new active members at PH. The forum really grew alot in terms of active members. We are nearly at 4500 members. And then we will be at 5000 soon! It's so nice to keep have the fanbase growing even after the olympics. Usually the post olympic season is when newbies hop onto the fandom the most. Anyone know how many members PH had last year of April?

True. Even Nathan had a very rough start to the season with JO. That being said, I think a B-Competition that is set place in Japan is exciting in of itself. Autumn Classics is great, if not for those glass fences that block photographers and fans view. I love him going to ACI every year as a checkup before the GP starts. Next season, I am hoping for SC and NHK, because he does have more choices than Shoma to pick whichever GP he wants to compete in, and I always felt NHK was a great choice for Yuzu. Also in 2021, Asian Winter Games will have figure skating. Shoma has competed in the past and he got Gold. Any chance Yuzu might compete for this game if he stays in competition until then? Or do you think this is too small of a competition for someone as the like of Yuzu?

So the scores at JO never get validated by the ISU system? Thanks for sharing that info. I also think he might not do it because they don't do short programs. But JO is a lot of fun, because so many people are in the audience. Plus he can compete with Javi again if he competes at JO.

Hi folks. Been away from Planet Hanyu for so long! Really missed having discussions here. Just wondering this one question that keeps coming up on Japanese Yuzu Threads. So about Japan Open and IMG and Yuzu. Some are saying Yuzu can't compete at Japan Open mostly because JO is highly affiliated with IMG and mainly Japanese skaters in the IMG Agency get first spots to compete there. Naturally, because Yuzu is not in IMG, it will be hard for JO to invite him to compete there. What is this logic? I don't know much about Japanese skating agencies and competitions like JO, so I am deeply confused. Also do you guys think Yuzu will ever compete at JO in the future?

That's a shame. Because he is so handsome, and his body is lean and fit, I thought they could still use him as an image model. Then people will say "Who's that?" and get a chance to know him from his ads. Sometimes, when I walk into the Nike Store, I don't know many of the models they use in the posters, but I still appreciate them. But maybe he's too expensive or something... Anyway, I hope we can see some sports related ads for Yuzu in the future. I love the Amino Vital ad primarily because it shows his athlete self, and commercializing products based on his athletic power is what I want to see more of, than Ghana (although I love them too).

Hi guys. I was reading another forum. And they mentioned that maybe the reason Yuzu isn't signed to a big, international Sportswear Brand like Nike or Under Armor is because Mizuno makes Team Japan sportswear, and somehow JSF prohibits Skaters to be models of other Sportswear brands. What do you guys think of this? If so, why isn't he signed to Mizuno? For me, Yuzu is the perfect sportswear model; because he is young, good looking, has legendary career status and still competing. Why aren't sportswear brands jumping at him to get him to commercialize / market their brands?

Both programs this season, he has to play himself! Or the fanboy version of himself?

When I viewed Zhenya's Instastory, she used to post clips of her on a treadmill and said it was her "finish to the day" routine or something. So maybe Yuzu does do daily running?

The image of Yuzu pumping his muscles in the Gym.. Wow I want to see that. I always wanted the documentary production teams in Japan to film his off ice training a bit more. We have alot of on ice training videos, but I've never seen Yuzu on a treadmill, or Yuzu on a cycling machine, or Yuzu just doing sit-ups or lifting weights... I would die to see videos of that.

I do wonder how on earth he did that with painkillers at PC olympics. I'm glad Yuzu is free from pressure (not 100% of course, but alot) since he achieved 2 OGMs.

I once saw a youtube reaction video to Yuzu's olympic performance from a Chinese Fanyu and I laughed so hard. She was such a screaming fan girl lol.

True. I've seen Sochi and Vancouver olys, and PC Olys were different. Much more hysteria lol. However, with the rise of Yuzu's popularity, I think Worlds or GPF might be a venue where the crowd indeed "goes wild". I will go wild too if I see Yuzu land a 4A live. I just hope our overlord can keep his focus while the whole arena practically screams their lungs off.
