I'm loving the choreo. It seems like it may even break my favorite FS of Yuzu (Seimei). Please let Nijinsky become my new favorite FS Yuzu!

I like how both pieces this season has a Russian vibe to it. Johnny had training in Russia so he has that sort of style to his skating. Also the music themselves somehow remind me of Russia. It's like he's challenging different cultures every season!

I love it! I want lacy, dark, glitters, with see through bits! I think Hanyu looks prettier in androgynous costumes.

Think back to 4CC when he changed nearly all his layouts in a few seconds after the mistake during the free. With Hanyu, anything is possible. He's like YOI real live version, only more dramatic.

But Otonal is a heavy, dark sort of music, it has a sad tone to it. So he might not use bright colors, but moody, toned down colors to match the tone of the music.

He might do a blue one like Johnny though! Although he did do Etude in Blue, so maybe autumn will be great! I'm just hoping the usual bead parties with sparkles and laces!

Omg both programs start with "O" after Olympics! So cool!

All those years Plushenko recycled Nijinsky infinitely on nearly every Ice Show he appeared with Hanyu must have really rubbed off on Hanyu. And how he said he still cries when he sees Nijinsky. Now one day, Yuzu really might do Tango Amore... which gets me excited. Back to this season! Wow so we get to see 2 of the Greatest male skaters of all time perform the same song! How blessed are we? Can't wait for Johnny to commentate on the SP! He'll be like "Yuzu asked me permission to skate to this piece".

Axel was his greatest jump so I'm not surprised. But I wonder if the 4Lo won't affect his ankle. Loops are also quite burdening on his injuries. I'm sort of speculating it is his only choice to up his BV without Flip and Lutz so he is going for it.

I'm not surprised because he might have a trauma with 4Lz. I say give him 1~2 seasons rest from that jump. Hope he never revisits it until he is 100% healed.

OMG guys! We were going on for ages how there will be no media day and he suddenly trolls us!! OMG, to be honest the music choices were very unexpected. We talked about him doing warhorses, but we never thought he would use this season as a homage to his 2 favorite skaters. Now this gets me thinking: 1. Will he get Johnny to design the Otonal SP costume since it's a program inspired by Johnny? 2. Will the Nijinsky program costume be black and see through? 3. Will he put little homage choreos here and there to honor his two heroes in the program? 4.He said he is bringing the 4A, if so when? (I imagine GPF!!!) AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm soooo excited!

I want to see more variations of his spins. Like I know all his variations by now and want to see something unique and new.

And why is that? hahaha. I won't forgive him if he skates to Scheherazade though. That piece has been overused too many times for me. But I do love the thought of Yuzu skating to Tango de Roxanne. I think he will bring a new side to it with his charisma.

The 1st Step Sequence of POTO choreo has a Tango Vibe to it? Or is it just me? (The Point of No Return music part). I think he can do Tango de Roxanne or something very sexy and passionate very well!

I want his to try new genres like Tango, or try Jazz again. Or even Hip-Hop Yuzu...

He;s most likely experimenting with new genres. Maybe that's why he wants it to be a surprise... and killing us with impatience in the process

Well I'm learning Japanese and I can't read Kanji.. so I know how hard it is to pick up a 2nd language... Anyway, so it's like less than a month to ACI and we have Zero data on Yuzu's new programs.. I'm almost speculating it might be something very wacky or out of this world new that no one has ever done before... or... a major warhorse like Carmen...

It would help if he watched American TV Shows or read English books alot, but I think he is only into Japanese TV Shows lol.

He has the best memory ever! He remembers to thank so many people from his past. I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps a daily record diary of people to thank. I love him for that.

So JSF first asks Yuzu to go to 4CC, and if he agrees he goes? But maybe it's in JSF's best interest to give him more time to focus on Worlds. Does Japan have a 4CC Gold Medal for Men's Singles" (Ever?)

A question from a newbie. Last year, when abouts did Yuzu announce he is going to 4CC? How many months beforehand does he usually announce he will attend 4CC? I want to know because I might get tickets for 4CC next year if he decides to go. But I want to make sure, I book the flights fairly early.

Yes true. I would love it if he tried Hip Hop, Jazz, Tango and a variety of new music genres this season. Or just a warhorse like La La Land.

Lol, but I just can't imagine Yuzu being associated with Celtic or Irish themed music.. Or maybe it's because he never tried it before?
