And flow his jumps created

...they won't learn, will they?

Yeah, that, plus, as they always say, skaters can lose with the short. Putting the 4A in the free, if something doesn't go right, he can fix it.

Junior Skaters of 2020/21 Season
Melodie replied to sallycinnamon's topic in Igloo World: Team Other Skaters
I like his attitude -
Or maybe that he really didn't need them at JNats. Plus, the jumps and jump combos that he chose went really well with the flow
-
I would have to respectfully disagree with you here. He had 4 quads, including a beautiful 4Lo, and 2 triple axels. His layout for H&E at JNats was difficult.
-
Actually, he has done that for the A-spins in Chopin since ver. 3, but it's the first time he brings that little detail to an A-spin in the free IMO. He isn't rewarded for it, but he goes for it anyway . I read somewhere (probably from Yuzu himself) that placing the hand in that position can throw the skaters off balance. But it's so Yuzu for trying it

A master class in takeoff and landing (Also, that knee-bend and running edge )

Ok, so, here I am again, trying to phrase my opinions differently: - TR: H&E at Nats was already filled with them. They were also reasonably distributed. He can't not have empty programs. Ever. However, there will be twitches as he finetunes the program (and upgrades the jump layout). - CO: Beautiful as was, but will be twitched for the same reason above to suit the new version, also including upgraded and more polished choreo - IN: Right up there with the best ver of Seimei and H&L already (which is so scary because Nats was only the first comp like what???). I feel H&E is his most difficult FP to interpret to date and he did it splendidly. - PE: I love what I saw. - Spins: Will definitely be worked on lol - Jumps: Will be polished even further and upgraded. - SS: Will smooth out the little rough parts, like hopped clusters or unclear turns (I can't remember which mistake he made) which resulted in level 3 StSq, etc.

I see. Sorry for misunderstanding you. I agree, we shall see. The ISU plans to have a meeting on Jan 28, so I hope we will hear something by then (IF they don't keep moving the meeting to a new date, that is)

It's in the final decision. Russia has to compete under the neutral flag and can't hold major comps in the next two years. However, I agree with @Paskud, there can be loopholes. We shall see.

I guess it'll be tricky. For one, Sweden just released new COVID prevention regulations that are a whole lot stricter. Also, all domestic comps are cancelled, meaning, they will be ruling out their own athletes should they go forward with the WC. But I don't know, I also heard something similar. Sweden seems to be determined.

Update: I just found this So if I understand correctly, Russia really can't hold the WC. Tat really has senile memory.

RusFed president has already begun to consider this plan At this point, I honestly believe all of them have conveniently forgotten this important point

Your post makes perfect sense I think I did say H&E (the first outing) was a watered down version in the jumping department, but only very slightly (without the Flip and Lutz) and that is according to Yuzu's standard. Upon thinking back, watering down may not be the rightest choice of words. Sorry if saying so makes you feel unease Surely when he intentionally left out both the Flip and Lutz (I totally agree that there is nothing wrong with that), his super brain (and literal calculator that he made) would have calculated to optimize the score. For sure, he will upgrade the technical aspect the next time he gets to show it in a competition. And I look forward to that. As for the SS, CO and TR of H&E, I completely agree with you.
