  1. Re: Schedule NHK is not the last event in the GP series???
  2. https://isu.org/isu-news/news/145-news/13411-decisions-of-the-council-update-on-isu-event-calendar?templateParam=15 Some announcements for the rest of this season and schedules for next season: ISU Events 2021 The ISU World Figure Skating Championships remain scheduled as planned, to be held in Stockholm, Sweden on March 22-28, 2021. 3. Thank you for saving my gloomy day The stream you posted only showed the juniors for me. I saw Mone and Yuma
  4. It seems Tomoe had a clean SP at the National Winter Sports Festival I wanna see it! I wanna see clean Tasogare no Waltz so badly It's one of my favorite SPs this season
  5. New FP for Kosto!
  6. That's ....
  7. Ahhhhh really? I know about the super spreader events but not sending nat team to WC is new to me. Sorry for posting old news
  8. Dunno if this will give any indication but wouldn't it be weird for just one national team to not be sent? Granted, short track speed skating is not as highly prioritized as FS, still...
  9. Aljona's Flip is more delayed than before I think? I do wonder if she is trying something? Like altering the technique, upgrading to quad, trying to get the jump back to normal, etc. Or maybe just this one jump that is more delayed.
  10. This is a part of the Asaichi program with Shinya-san, isn't it? I swear, the number of J-media's Yuzu-related footages that are waiting to be released probably will last all of us for 10 years This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  11. I can try. It's indeed a long thread with a lot of interesting tidbits and technicalities. Basically: - As @Veveco mentioned, Yuzu was extremely active in creating the two programs. - For LMEY + Choreo started in July. At first, Jeff and Yuzu sent videos to each other back and forth then communicated via email and not in real time. The choreo was completed in two weeks. + Yano-san helped to finetune the music at the very end (in Oct). Yuzu sent practice video over so it'd be easier for Yano-san. + Jeff said as Yuzu's ENG got better and he became more mature as a person, he also became more involved in the creative process. While with PW, Yuzu passively received the choreo, with LMEY, he proactively provided a lot of his inputs. + Yuzu wants the audience to have the experience like they are at an ice show. (My note: Yuzu really goes “if there is no ice show this year then I will turn comps into ice shows instead.” His galaxy brain/extraness ) + The SHADE: 1) Jeff said he didn't notice the invalid spin, so when told, he rewatched and had to count one by one; 2) there's still a lot of room for improvement for LMEY, so stay tune - For Ten to Chi to + Commission from Yuzu came to Yano-san in May + 18 versions were created in 2.5 weeks, and the final ver came May 29th (but there could be further finetuning later). + Upon listening to the OST, he immediately felt that the music is definitely Yuzu's style. + It took a lot of efforts to integrate various kinds of instruments seamlessly, and Yano-san and Yuzu paid close attention even to the smallest details. + Yano-san also saw the full program for the first time at the official practice like everyone else. + Edit (from another translation): Yuzu and Shae began to work on the FP around late June. Most of the time they sent videos back and forth, but they did manage to have some live sessions with Yuzu in the rink and Shae on the dance floor. - Directly from the tweets: + Yano-san has been engaged in figure skating audio related work for 35yrs+. He said that though he has seen many figure skaters, Yuzu is the ONLY ONE, no one is like him. + Yano-san hopes kids who follow Yuzu will not just (mechanically) skate assigned pieces & perform arranged movements but WORK harder to think about what they want to perform. Then in order to achieve what they want to express, he hopes that the kids can also understand the theoretical methods of music composition like Yuzu does.
  12. His pretty 4Lo
  13. Look at this tiny bean I melt
  14. I just rewatched Ten to Chi to for the nth time and ...the last time Yuzu used similar entry into the 3Lo was in his first senior season right? O.O I mean I love that entry so much but like woah O.o
  15. Another blast from the (wild) past PS: How is he so memeable?
  16. Bringing her (THE 4T-Eu-3F combo) back because I think we all need it.
  17. Found this on twitter: Yuzu's message in Worlds 2019 program book: "I was injured this season but have been supported by the daily encouragement of Javier Fernandez, E. Plushenko, and D. Button." "Javier's thrilling performance (at Euros) made me want to be stronger too." Well, if anything, between his two problematic idols, at least Plushenko genuinely supports Yuzu and doesn't stab him the back.
  18. Maybe he is warming up / cooling down? Gliding in the swan position seems to be a common exercise at TCC. But again, if that's the case, then he is truly the king of multitasking
  19. By the look of it, there're definitely enough for a Nats. But well
  20. What a sad day for JPN Ice Dance
  21. I just came a cross a rumor that Rika may repeat both the 20/21 programs for the Olys season . If she really does, I hope for a lot of twitches in the choreos and PE/IN (something just doesn't feel right with both programs for me, altho between the two, the SP is more off than the FP) and costumes. Also, esp with the FS, I hope the music cuts will be rearranged.
  22. Yeah, but it's just so irresponsible of them to not even take the efforts to update the info on the skaters on their own official source
  23. Not even the summary.... Edit: I just randomly clicked on some other skaters' bios and some of them are not updated either
  24. https://sportrbc.ru/news/60017bb79a794732332a91bc?ruid=UET9A1/9el1X1J+yA7qzAg== ...Ari sure is something...
  25. In general it is a nice interview. However, I look forward to him upgrading his program contents as a whole, which, judging from the interview, is not going to happen. Re: 5-time champ, who are we kidding? Of course he is going to get it. He is just too far ahead of the rest in terms of TES (and for a long time now PCS too, given by the judges). No other US skaters can catch him. It should be a walk in the park.
