  1. So according to this, Yuzu did enlist Yano-san for help with the music arrangement. Maybe for fine-tuning this time (esp. with the FP)? This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  2. I don’t get it either. I don’t think there is a lack of transitions, given how few crossovers he used. It is more complex and filled than Origin IMO. Maybe its pacing gives Jesse that illusion? IMO the jump contents was the watered down, not the TR or SS, but all of these will be improved and upgraded from where they are now. PS: can someone make a video analyzing the technical aspect of Ten to Chi to?, like steps, turns, TR, etc.
  3. Off-topic a lil' bit again but I feel so emo seeing Nanami-sensei Also, she rocks that hairstyle.
  4. The more I watch “Ten to Chi to”, the more in love I am with it
  5. Time to make the trip down the memory lane, starting with “what is a quint? it's just a quad with one more rotation" This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  6. The ISU still hasn't updated Yuzu's info http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00010967.htm
  7. Anyone has any video of Mana's SP and FP this season, other than at NHK Trophy? I can't find any from JNats anymore
  8. @citrusjunos The videos you posted are so interesting (Chopin 3.0 is just in terms of complexity). I got them downloaded a long time ago because they are a good source to learn about FS (and to sometimes marvel at how amazing Yuzu is). I don't think that account has done any other comparison videos like those since Origin 1.0. It'll be interesting to see how Otonal (1.0 and 2.0), Origin 2.0, Let me entertain you, and Heaven and Earth stack up against other top skaters' programs.
  9. I know, I also said don't quote me on it but because I did count but kept being distracted Anyway, totally agree with you
  10. OK, something was bothering me so much I couldn't focus on work. I turned to Yuzu's free skate instead (big mistake, it sucked away my attention even more but whatever ). Anyway, so I tried to count his crossovers. I may have found less than 18 of them (don't quote me on this, since H&E was so mesmerizing I kept forgeting to count LOL). If I am more or less correct then H&E has less crossovers than Origin and Seimei. Hell, it may even have less crossovers than some other skaters' SPs. Yuzu really is insane.
  11. That he would not, and I am glad. On a side note, I know of cases that are not tested positive until the 21-day mark. You just can't be reckless and say it is alright to mingle without mask for a brief moment. This virus is very, very scary
  12. I saw a video, the way it was organized, at least the finale, was as if CoVID doesn't exist. Very similar to past Nagoya festival
  13. I am not. See, it's not just that. They held hand with the flower kids and strolled around the ice rink while not maintaining distance and for sure without facemasks. Plus, the distance between the performers and audience was really close, without any barriers in between. And even for that brief moment when they took off the facemasks for the photoshoot, they might as well spread the virus around if any of them have it. It's a big no-no from me, for all of them . Color me disappointed PS: Did they do all of that when Yuzu was around?
  14. Oh same LOL, I haven't timed and counted his crossovers either. But he might as well take larger crossovers so the actual number is less, just cos, you know, he can
  15. I was going to post the video but you are quicker. It was hysterical But also, only around 38 secs (15%) of his performance are crossovers ? Yuzu is insane!!!!
  16. He is beauty. He is grace. He will kick you in the face. (So follow COVID protocols !!!) This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  17. That she does PS: I saw her complaining about the crazy level of details and the color palette on Yuzu's costume. Ito-san and Yuzu's creations are always artist Fanyus' nightmares
  18. Off-topic but not really: Today is Tsuzuki-sensei's birthday May he be healthy and happy and continue to impasse great skating foundation and knowledge I'm grateful that he is the origin of Yuzu's skating, as Yuzu has put it
  19. I read from other articles that she changed her toeloop technique to prepare for the 4T. I do wonder when she did so and from whom she learned? If she has been training 4S and 4T simultanenously then maybe she got the new technique from Ghislain also? If not, she might get it from Stephane or some other jumping coaches in Switzerland.
  20. Those colors look good on Mai PS: why are these kids standing so close to take selfies without masks?
  21. That reminds me, there were some videos of her trying it a year ago right? They came out with the leakage on her FS last year. I don't know how it is now but those were...not good.
  22. So, with the help of google translate, I get from that article that she will try the 4T? It takes her so long to train the 4S, and even now she still can't get it consistently rotated and put successfully together with a 3A. I don't know, maybe nailing that ambitious layout she announced for JNats seems more logical.
  23. An interesting comparison between the 3A at 4CC and at JNats. His arms seem to be tightened. This must be a result of the 4A training.
