These are all for giving ISU staff some works to do while earning their paycheck. Post notice saying they are in discussion... Post notice saying announcements delay... Post notice saying who are assigned where... Post notice saying who is withdrawing... Post notice saying event cancelled...

Citizen knows we need to see the white wall again. 2nd video today. https://weibo.com/tv/show/1034:4554553396232253?from=old_pc_videoshow ETA: Oh wait, I just realised it's the same clip as the other one (i was watching mute in office). Obviously Citizen wanted to see the white wall again.
-
I wasn't expecting to get the Citizen watch especially since I am not located in China but I checked out the 1st sale today on Weixin. Well, it was OOS right when the countdown ends so.. (is my phone time slow or what?). Anyway, what amused me was that in the first minute, I encountered a blank page with a pop up message a few times. The message wrote "SHORTCIRCUIT". Yeap. My mind totally when It comes to Yuzu And Happy 6000 pages! Thanks to everyone for contributing to the forum!

I can’t believe a white wall is what made 2020 a little better. Yuzu, please keep the white wall coming.

Doesn't sound that way to me since Brian is obviously surprised by saying her going to Eteri was 'totally out of the blue'. His talk with Med on Eteri and Plushenko is more about them joking about the news coverage being now on those 2 Russian coaches and Brian is happy that he's out of the limelight cos just 2 years ago, the news were about Brian and Eteri. Too bad 2 days after the call with Med, the news are back on Brian vs Eteri. Poor Brian.... I'm referring to Hersh's interview unless I missed out something in other news.

4 options and she chose the 5th one. I wonder why...

Oh, nice research skill. Since there is sort of an 'official' translation, using the same English word as the book is better. There is no past/present tense in Chinese language so it makes things easy. And yes, considering she is from China, perhaps simplified Chinese is better.

I will probably be a reader of the wikiquote once the page is updated so I don't have much to contribute. However, just a suggested change in the introduction as shown in red below: Yuzuru Hanyu (羽生 結弦, Hanyū Yuzuru, born December 7, 1994) is a Japanese figure skater and the first in 66 years since 1952 to win back-to-back Olympic gold in the men's singles discipline. Regarding the Chinese quote from CCTV, the text by @Hope_and_Legacy is in traditional Chinese characters. 「他讓我想起一句話:命運對勇士低語,『你無法抵御*風暴 。』勇士低聲回答, 『我就是風暴。』」 In simplified Chinese characters, it will be: 他让我想起一句话。 命运对勇士低语: "你无法抵御风暴。" 勇士低声回应: "我就是风暴。" Traditional Chinese is use mainly in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Simplified Chinese is use mainly in China (Singapore uses simplified Chinese as well. I think Malaysia too. Not sure about the Chinese community in other countries.) I'm not sure what is the rule for Wikiquote for Chinese characters but if there isn't, maybe we should follow the origin of Chen Yin? As for the English translation, both what you and Hope_and_Legacy stated above are fine. 抵御 = resist, withstand, fight with. The translation in 'the interesting comment thread used "defeat" which really isn't a literal translation but the underlying meaning is probably that - you fight with the storm to defeat it. I actually think the original translation in the 3rd post is good enough.

So we will still get our monthly Yuzu crumbs. Yes!

I was well trained by Johnny's Entertainment from young (yeah, fan of a duo group in there) so I don't buy fan-made goods produced with a profit making motive as the agency has a strict control on copyright issue. I always believe in buying official merchandise. My believe is that if i want to support that person, my money should go directly towards his income (granted my idol will obviously be richer than me and they probably don't care for my contribution). So I rather my money be spent an official goods released by him or towards brands which he endorses (which means the brand will know his influence on fan's purchase power and will sign him for longer endorsement period - ie more income). That said, a fan still has to be rationale. I will pay for items only if the freebies they give is nice and I do use the product. Nishikawa pillow? Nah, my pillow is till new. However, I did buy a towel in the last campaign and I do use towel. Kosei Miyabi? I might if I am in Japan but I am still wary about alcohol content in skincare so it depends.... Phiten socks and necklaces? I bought all of them except the toe sock which was oos the last time I was at the shop and I think my necklaces are fully depreciated now cos I wear them daily. Ghana chocolates? Cheap and chocolate is life. Why not? The new Nishikawa campaign is strange though. Buy stuff with a 50-50 chance of getting Yuzu's products? In previous campaign, we get to see what files are still left and to pick the file design we like before we proceed with payment. If files are out of stock, you can choose not to buy. However, a 50-50 chance of getting a Yuzu's eco bag is a gamble and not worth it cos I never have luck in such thing.

There might be some missed opportunities but it’s never too late to be a Yuzu’s fan
-
I am so missing Yuzu’s skate!! argh!! But that was a right decision and a hard one to make too. Not many can resist temptation to do what one’s like just for the good of others. More than concern of his health, I feel the greater reason would be to protect his fans and coaching team who may fly around and follow him during competition. Yuzu, please continue with the little monthly sprinkle of water....this drought is long... Will we see Japan Nationals?
-
This is how i justify spending 11,000 yen but thankfully, i don't have to think about it cos I don't stay in Japan BTW, the Citizen planking contest is won by a guy with 40 min 40 sec. You can find his video if you click his username on the weibo post. https://m.weibo.cn/status/4542142910046557?

I like Yuzu crumbs... sounds very yummy...
-
OMG congratulations Yuzu! So proud of him. And what a useful thesis that will help his favorite sport to improve in future. Hopefully by the time his graduation ceremony is held, the covid situation is better and he can attend the ceremony. No robot in attendance please...
-
Yes. So i always on sleep loan until weekend when i pay back everything unless it's competition period when Yuzu is on the other side of the globe.
-
This is something I can beat him. I can easily sleep for more than 12 hours. Who needs lunch?
-
When you finally don't need luck to try for freebie but realise you still can't get it due to poor physical stamina. Sigh.

Quoting my post to take back my words... Nope. Not motivated anymore because... ↓↓↓

Maybe finally I will have motivation to do plank....

C-chan is a sponsor or a fan? How thoughtful of them to post at 12:07 (china time). 12.07 is a good number. It's a happy death. I shall convert myself to a cat so that I can die a few times. And damn, the earpiece is luring me again.
-
Thank you, C-chan!

Why does this look like photo of wax figures from Madame Tussauds (except they look more accurate than most exhibited in the museum...)
