So with cancellation of 4CC and to qualify for Worlds, he wants to participate in JNats. If Worlds proceed as planned next year, he intends to go for it? I'm sure not comfortable with him flying to Stockholm even if vaccine is available....

[NEWS] All participants of JNats went through PCR test and tested negative. Since Yuzu has not withdrawn, I guess it's assumed he did the test too. It's looking more and more likely that he will participate. Any withdrawal concern should be decided sometime back and it's rather late now. I still can't believe we will see him skate soon!

So the 3rd and final sales of Citizen x Yuzu watch happened on Nov 11. I was just trying out my luck and surprisingly, everything went smoothly. Not sure why they have to send via sea (hello T-mall, am just 5 hr flight from China) but close to 1 month later, it finally arrived! I don’t know how they assigned the watches but it looks random cos my number is 8/1207. 8 is an auspicious numbers to us of Chinese race. I am so going to buy lottery later to recoup some cost And the photos that comes with the watch? This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].

Oh gosh, Japan Nationals is a ticketed event? So there will be spectators. Already we have to be concerned with off-ice interaction among athletes and staff. Is there anyway for him to skate in a physical bubble? (I'm serious...) My brain is fried. I want to see him skate but I don't want him to skate.

I like the emphasis on "the" watch like we all know what that is. There was a 3rd sale on 11.11. Was just testing my luck and I'm surprised my order went through. I shall see when it arrives. It's apparently sent by sea shipment. I'm not confident with the watch arriving intact LOL (also bye money)

Will you be able to roll over your unused leaves for many years? i can only bring forward 7 days to next year so... but it was only last year that I negotiated for more annual leaves and now... they are of no use. I will forever be grateful that we still get to fly for 4CC this year. Well... I’m not so sure... I was playing with t-mall and apparently a watch is now on it’s way to me. I’m still sceptical the order went true. I shall believe when I see the actual goods delivered.

Ooh, our birthdates are just different by a few days. I hope to go too but will have to see how the pandemic plays out. 2022 seems far but more than half a year has gone and there is no improvement this year. I kinda resign myself to the fact that travelling may not be possible for the next 2 years...

The full Jeff’s interview. The part about the new SP is near the end of the video (though in the middle there are some mentions about Yuzu). AND I AM OFFICIALLY EXCITED!!! But what are the chance of debuting it at J nats? Actually I can wait... till the next season. I really NEED the bloody virus to go away so that next FS season can start normally

Psst, seeing small bits of his choreo, I think the same as you too... Though as a technical coach, I also wonder if he may be too geeky such that his words go over the heads of his students. Whatever his decision for his post-competitor career, he better continue to do some ice shows! I still want to see him skate live for a few more years. I'm not greedy. Just make it 10 more years.
