  1. Sofia Samodurova and Alisa Fedichkina are on holiday in Cyprus together: Zhenya with Johnny and Stephane:
  2. How about a community for Junior skaters for the 2018-2019 season?
  3. Zhenya: Fantasy on Ice performance: She choreographed this herself
  4. Put this in the ladies 3A and Quads topic, but thought it deserves a post here as well
  5. And I knew there would be new Alina fanart today:
  6. So, who do you think will junior worlds next season? I am always rooting for Alexandra Trusova, but I think it will be Anna Shcherbakova.
  7. Forgot to post earlier this week. The latest episode of Ice Age Kids:
  8. I wonder how much tourism money Yuzuru has generated. And I don't just mean for Sendai, but for all around the world. Basically, anywhere he skates has a legion of fans following. I can imagine any country would be thrilled to have him compete.
  9. Figure skating is good for diplomacy 😊
  10. It's nice to see Yulia so happy. The kids at the academy love her.
  11. This is lovely. Love that little Victor Here a nice fanart of one of the training mates Zhenya left behind: Zhenya posted videos of when Anna started skating again after her injury and encouraged her. It's a bit sad to think about it now, but they might meet again at a competition in the 2019-2020 season.
  12. Anastasia Gubanova has her short program:
  13. I hope Yulia (and perhaps Yuzu one day) will be added to this list some time.
  14. I didn't expect this, both because of how close Eteri and Evgenia are/were and because Eteri is the coach for female skaters with the greatest success right now. But thinking about it, I do understand it. There are so many powerhouses with Eteri that she shares the rink with every day. It must be extra frustrating to see girls doing quads around her now that she is injured and can only glide. And I think she enjoys interacting with foreign skaters. With Eteri, she is the oldest, while she wouldn't be with a coach like Orser. Instead of being big sis all the time, she would have more adult skaters who can be role models for skating when you are no longer in your teens.
  15. I posted about Sofia Akatieva before, but this is really out of this world: Future world champion; am calling it now.
  16. Next year's JGP will be mad. And Russian Nationals
  17. and lol @ Alina skating by with a smile.
  18. A nice mini documentary about Nancy Kerrigan at 35 minutes. What I like about it, is that this was made before 'the incident', and they therefore focus on herself. I didn't know she wanted to play ice hockey as a kid, and that he mother was nearly blind. She also skated the subsequent short program really well.
