    Yuhana Yokoi attempted a 3A during Nationals as well. I really like Nana Araki too, but Rika Kihira is still in a class of her own. Wonder if she can beat the Russians this weekend.

    Smiles indeed. The pure joy on Misha and Boyang's faces, and even Shoma is laughing. Meanwhile, Yuzuru just wants to stay ahead of the competition (what else is new? ;))

    I just discovered Stephen Gogolev and wow, is he amazing! Will be so great to see him in the JGP this year. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a future World Champion.

    Still a bit sad about Zhenya; she's my favourite female skater. But I love what a good sport she is. Much more mature than some people in their twenties when reacting to loss. And on the topic of Russian Skaters; Alexandra Trusova is a badass doing two quads in one program. And she rotated and landed her salchow now too.

    Great to see her back on the ice. Had been looking forward to her skating in the JGP this season, but her injury prevented it. Well, she will have all the opportunity to shine next season. This season the JGP final ladies was probably my favourite competition. Can't imagine what it will be like next year with Anna in the mix.
