Fanart: Other Skaters Edition

I totally agree. It might be good for him anyway to have a bit more rest and less competition-pressure after years of being expected to be the best.

Interview with our new Junior World Record holder (in the SP). She's too precious holding the Makkachin.

The Murderface (beware!)
Deliverpooh replied to Smultron's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
She did some of that at WTT too: -
Our fellow Yuzuru fan: Evgenia Medvedeva. I love the grit, her programs, personality and how hard-working she is. That said, I love most of the skaters, there's nobody I dislike. Of the Japanese ladies it's probably Wakaba, though I'm very happy with Satoko's return as well. Kaori is rising rapidly in my list of favourites and I've liked Mai since I first saw her.

Just rewatched Satoko at Skate America, so happy she is back as a major competitor.

Wow, so much amazing art. And that's a nice gift, Pamyu!

It's interesting indeed. Kaori seems to have pulled ahead of Marin at least.

Congratulations on your 1000 post. And I wouldn't worry. If there were no more magazines etc, there would be Yuzuru hollograms skating around on your table.

Sad to hear it, but expected it. Rather have her WD than stressing herself to the point of worse injury in an Olympic year. Something more cheerful:

I love how much this post has been liked

Jason Brown is made of bunnies, rainbows and everything good. Love him.

and I thought our Prince of Tennis talk was a bit weird. I feel at home already

Oh, didn't know about the magazine! Know he was somewhere else in YOI, when they show a drawing of six grand prix finals participants (it shows all six from GPF 2015). That crossover sounds like fun. The dinosaurs thing is still being joked about even though it's about 13 years ago: a true classic

Hahah, can't wait to see it. And somehow I wouldn't be too surprised if an anime came out about 7 Yuzuru's. Watching anime for many years has inoculated me from feeling surprised about most things Wouldn't mind a Yuzuru cameo in a random sports anime, maybe the third seasone of Free!

I really hope Evgenia will be okay. She has a week and a half of rest left. NHK was supposed to be fun for her and Yuzu, but guess it wasn't what she had expected. Hope they'll have double as much fun at the Olympics. Same for Ashley.

You're not the only nerd showing up here, haha. When I joined this forum I planned to not act like a total nerd, but it only took less than two weeks Guess you fellow nerds are at fault ;) I see the pinch of Eiji too. He can be quite dorky. The seven Yuzu brothers would be too much, even for a show like Prince of Tennis. Instead of 'just' causing the extinction of the dinosaurs, they'll probably set the Big Bang in motion. (And for those of you that only watched Tenimyu; Tezuka causing the extinction of the dinosaurs is actually a thing in the anime :p)

Would just like to say I never expected a Prince of Tennis reference here. I love that anime. And to keep this Yuzuru-relevant, I think that personality wise, he would fit in best with Hyotei: large amounts of fans, flamboyant and used to a competitive environment Skating-wise, perhaps Fuji? Elegant, skillful skating that is almost unmeasurable (even Inui wouldn't be able to take his data)

I love that about this website. I used to read a certain other forum, but they're so hostile to some skaters and fans that I'm turned off. So I'm very glad to find a place where people don't have obsessive hatred against athletes and are respectful. I feel much more relaxed here.

Not sure if it's smart to do this, especially if her sponsors read it. Though, perhaps she's at her wits end and tries to force her talented student, who could do so much, to listen. Marin, being both naturally talented and popular because of non-skating related things, might think it all comes automatically.

Didn't know Karen was writing a book. Is it fiction or biographical? Will try to find more info.

Lol at Brian jumping for joy at the quad toe combination in the SP
