Do you think it's too much to ask if we ask people to submit fancams in (what resolution is the minimum to see takeoff and landing?) FPS of jumps ONLY (not entire videos)? Or maybe we could ask mechanical turk to cut out the videos of jumps? That way what we can do is: 1. get snapshots of each takeoff and landing 2. blur out the skater's face/costume 3. crowdsource whether or not it's UR 4. compare that to ISU calls 5. use mechanical turk to count number of frames to get estimate of height of jump 6. compare that against GOE 7. maybe build a neural net over calls too see if it can predict country

I tried the same idea but with a thicker line, and also in red. Red makes it easier to see the heart, IMO, but it may clash with many country flags. Thoughts? I also tried doing this with the country name, but I think it would be hard to do this for all countries because of name length. But maybe this can be an option and you can pick which one you want?

Good idea. There won't be curling since these will be professionally made, but we can still leave some space to hold the banner.

I got the quote from the factory in China. It's $1/banner including shipping if we order 200. We can have unlimited flag designs. 200 is a lot though; do you think there would be enough people interested? Esp if we give out for free. If we do, what breakdown of countries should we print?

Hm, my first impression is I think having the flag silhouette in the country name may be a bit difficult if the name is long. Also, it's just a bit harsher on the eyes. I may try putting it in the heart but the country names in big black block font. What do you think? Thank you
