  1. What's the context of this upload? Is there recent footage in this? I'm seeing a double 3-turn entry into the 4T but also lots of footage of POTO. So I'm confused about the timeline of this video?
  2. Rika Kihira continues to be awesome. Now some 3Lz rippon. <3
  3. There's an asteroid belt named Seimei!?
  4. This picture in @gladi's latest translation just makes me go LOL, though, because a) his expression and b) the angle of the photo makes it look like he has an extremely thin leg and the other with a killer thigh.
  5. I think he probably has a couple more costumes in the wings, knowing him. Whichever he'll use at each competition will depend on how much trolling he'll want to do at the time.
  6. I can't believe Yuzu is back to his mushroomingness after having such nice hair for 24h TV and media day.
  7. This should be illegal!
  8. Yeah, the Winter costume is a grey-ish version of his Loco costume, with some lovely snowflake details. Shoma really liked the Loco design (so did we all ).
  9. I meant more 'if you're trying to convince people your last jump is gonna be a 3Lz, you should probably, idk, include it in your runthroughs!?' But he doesn't...
  10. Finally the Yamaguchi article we spoke about a few days earlier. Thank you @gladi. Also lol that he didn't jump a single 3Lz in the entire public training session.
  11. It's still Yuzu.
  12. It's Yuzu. Check the blades.
  13. Yeah, looks like a stick of some sort or maybe even a rope.
  14. Zuzu at TCC
  15. I think the greatest difference between 17-year old Romeo and the post-Orser Yuzu is that he was taught to control himself better, not be as explosive and tire himself out completely by the end. Not that 2013!Yuzu was in any better shape stamina-wise as 2012!Yuzu but he also had harder programs by then, with two quads and triple axel combos. He also learned to control his speed better. I watch R+J1 and sometimes the camera can barely keep up with him at the beginning, he is motoring right from the start to get speed into the 4T. The raw wildness is something that one might miss and feel nostalgic about but reigning himself in and developing that control was fundamental for Yuzu to pace his own technical progress.
  16. I was checking the protocols for Worlds 2012 and noodly 17-year Zuzu got the same GOE for his 4T as Patrick Chan (2.43). That was pretty amazing back then. And the best solo 3A GOE too. Which isn't surprising, he did have a SE entry and it was so huge it prompted a commentator to exclaim 'He could jump a 4A!'.
  17. He was so happy and so dramatic too.
  18. Please don't kill yourself before Olys, Patrick!
  19. Why are they showing off their programs only nationally before GP assignments? Or will this have international judging?
  20. Yep, but then Yuzu broke it back at GPF.
  21. No idea. I don't keep up with superstitions!
  22. This interpretation depends a bit on the translator, I think. @gladi's interpretation of that was 'wildness' whereas iron_klaus was rough masculinity. Take which one you prefer.
  23. Some snippets of V/M's Moulin Rouge FD from Alaine Chartrand's instastory:
