Wow, the world gone nuts ! Do you realise guys that we are talking about ladies quads? The quad fever got viral. How long it will pass before we are gonna see a lady adding a quad in her program and landing it corect, no UR or anything else. It seems like the russian ladies do better with the quads and the ladies from TJ are harnessing 3A. And everything is developing so fast. :omg: A decade+ ago the ladies seemed like they also had quad fever, landing them in practice cleanly, but it never beared fruit in competition (Sasha, Miki, Joannie, Bonaly, Meissner, etc). Only Miki has ever gotten one ratified (and it wasn't even round, but that's another story). So I'm not holding my breath. I'll believe it when I see it :s_whiteflag

Jeff and DW choreographed Javi's 'Black Betty' and 'I love Paris'. Ohh, Black Betty was amazing. Im totally on board with the duet idea.

I'm actually on board with this idea. Some of the criticism that Yuzu got for Shae's programs is that its too quiet/empty while Davids was too busy and hectic. I can only imagine how a program with a happy medium created by these two would look like. Has that ever happened before? Two individual choreographers working together on one program?

Yuzu and Mura attempted 4A after finale of Dreams On Ice 2015, though both 4A were < with fall I think. Their attempt was aired so there must be a footage somewhere on internet too. It was downgraded but I'd still give him because he was so cute afterwards lol

Somewhere there is a piece written about kintsugi- the Japanese art of repairing a broken pot with gold lacquer. The writer had photos of a blue pot repaired in that way and linked it to the alterations in that costume. I've no idea whether they were correct but it was a charming thought- wish I could remember where I saw it. We talked about it in the FF :grin: It was an especially sentimental concept because of the hardship he went through the previous season, the crack representing his injuries and the inability to skate that beautiful program clean. :crybaby:

Yes, knowing Yuzuru's OCD personality, I wouldn't be surprised he has had like 5 pairs each season just to be safe. I think the issue with Nathan might be that he is still growing so his boots couldn't fit after a few months? One interesting point about Yuzuru, we never ever heard he says anything about boot issues. And we know Yuzuru is super picky and that his foots have special sizes. He once said he wore EDEA and has to choose bigger size than his true size because their boots are narrow. I am sure Yuzuru has boot issues just like any other skaters. He just doesn't tell us. I think he has at least 2 or 3. During on of the documentaries, he mentioned he mails his boots back to Sendai for blade sharpening so at the very least he has 2 sets ready to go.

Depends. Russia has a good chance for Team Gold..and if enough people falter + you get lucky enough to have the skate of your life (la Adelina), you can get yourself on the podium or even the OGM. The point is, there is that sliver of a chance. Radio was never on the Olympic Team. That would be Yulia, who is a Silver Worlds Med and Olympic team Gold Med.
