Gosh I am in tears looking through posts and reading Yuzu's words and seeing posts from other artists - how much they are touched by Yuzu, and knowing how we all feel too. I love him so much - that in itself is very unusual for me, and I imagine for so many mature people who are well past the infatuation-with-some-bloke phase of life (sorry young people - you may feel it's also unusual for you!) anyway I know we don't know him in his personal life but he tells us a lot and even more so he shows us his heart every time we see him and we see what a good and true heart it is (it's why we get so upset when others say unkind things about Yuzuru, that he is dishonest in some way, that he is just out for himself and making money for example - we KNOW they are wrong because we DO know Yuzuru's heart and how true and courageous and tender and sensitive it is). Sometimes I wish I didn't love him so much as he takes up a lot of my time and thoughts and I need to have space for other people and my commitments too - but he really is quite irresistible. How do all those antis on social media harden their hearts so successfully against this lovely human being who brings only more beauty to this world, I just do not understand! Final comment - Dynamite after the finale of NS was so fun!! And Rika Hongo is my hero for her flurry of individual skating during the impromptu dance (well impromptu to all but Yuzu who has probably been planning it all along lol!!) I really liked the cast so much.

My head is still all over the place since GIFT and returning home etc, I am totally lost about NS - are NTV broadcasting one of the NS shows?? Which one if so?? Is it live or after the event?? My, it is so hard to catch up and keep up with all the info and people's perspectives on the magnificent GIFT! I am not doing very well lol! One thing that struck me again today (on my 3rd rewatching of GIFT since my return from Japan) was Yuzuru's voice - Yuzu has talked before about his ability to connect and communicate with all peoples through the language of skating, but as fans who speak many languages between us, we also love Yuzuru's words, Yuzuru's gift for story telling - I thought back to being at Tokyo Dome and how Yuzuru casts a spell with his voice even if you don't understand all the words he is saying! I felt bathed in warmth as he told his story with his beautiful voice, even when sadness was evident as he spoke of his struggles, the overall sensation for me was one of comfort and calm although I did well up at his Why, why, why. He has developed the most beautiful voice over recent years hasn't he - just listening to him speak is such a pleasure.... *sighs* I am also very impressed with Yuzuru's (non-skating) acting too - compared to his cameo role in The Magnificent Nine when he was so young, the more mature Yuzuru shows his much improved acting abilities in the role play of the Two Yuzuru's (his two selves) - so multi talented, I hope his self doubt is never his most prominent feeling ever again (excepting if he becomes a parent - self doubt tends to come with the job!! )

Hi all, back from Japan and the most incredible experience of being a live audience member of Yuzuru's GIFT to us all. I have rewatched GIFT twice yesterday (the day of my return, who cares about unpacking??) on Disney plus and also an Eng subbed version - both live and recorded versions are mind blowing, and I cried so much as well as smiling and rocking along with Yuzuru! My 20 year old was a good translator for me during the event too so I had some understanding of the themes and what Yuzuru was saying. I look forwards to catching up on all of your posts fellow satellites, we are so so lucky to be alive and to be Yuzuru's fans, the thought of missing out on this stuff is unconscionable!!! Yuzuru is just the most amazing figure skater with a creative and courageous vision like none before him, nor after him in all liklihood. John Curry went on to create beauty and carved a new path in his professional performances and of course had no access to the technological resources Yuzuru has, but he did not think on the scale of Yuzuru's Huge Ideas, the integration of narration, story telling in multiple media, theatre, dance, and sport and art, music, and technology - and a huge huge dose of DRAMA - that entrance!!! That ending Seimei!! Truly mind and heart blowing...

So glad Muffinator got comfort from watching Yuzuru skate, my sincere condolences to her family, rest in peace.
