The name of the magazine is "ENGLISH JOURNAL". The problem is, Japanese in general do not have so many occasions to practice or actually use it compared to the learners in other countries. We do not have so many tourists from abroad (although they are increasing now), or foreign students, or business occasions to use English. You would not feel like working hard if you don't think it is necessary When I was watching NHK World, I was astonished by one reporter who speaks English with unmistakable Japanese accent . His grammar may be correct, but I confess that I have not listened to such typical Japanese accented English recently. At least Yuzuru's pronunciation is much better than that reporter from NHK, our most prestigious TV station

He became the third Japanese man to win an ATP title, preceded by Shuzo Matsuoka and Kei Nishikori, and the first Japanese who won the title of grass surface of ATP Tour. Hifumi Kato is a respected shogi master with a cute nickname "Hifumin" and popular among youngsters too. He lost to a 14 yo genius, Sota Fujii, last year and this was a big surprise nationally, and Fujii has made a record of consecutive wins and still continues winning. Kato Sensei decided to r**** but left warm words for this young genius. As I heard he commented about Yuzuru, I just thought a real genius loves real geniuses, just like Plushenko.
