I think only Sui/Han are safe together at the moment, right? Hope they make their decisions soon and then finish with musical partners... partners need time to become teams/couples and build toward Beijing.

Just an add on... Kurt on CBC certainly said Yuzu could be GOAT, specifically saying if not him, then, who? So, while not an absolute yes, it was a definite strong suggestion that he could be. In most sports there will always be debates about who is best ever. I cannot think of a sport where there is an absolute GOAT without some serious debate...except maybe Pele.... or Bolt.

I hope we hear confirmation soon.... but could the delay be Brian waiting for Yuzu to come home so they can personally chat and discuss scenarios? Man, the next 4 years certainly look fun, at least I would think so if I were Brian and had the potential group that he has.... Oh, so that is interesting Boyang news (if true) to wake up to! Chinese fed is serious about Beijing.... esp reading the other news.... I think training at TCC would be beneficial for him.( even short term).. and would definitely make things interesting for Yuzu if he was there at the same time. I can imagine he would enjoy it since he loves that 4lz... and to see it regularly, yeah, he would like it. A totally different kind of motivation than skating with javi. I think everyone can rest assured knowing Brian would consider Yuzu first before adding someone of this calibre on a long term basis. Summer training is different, however, and I think brian/tracy would enjoy the challenge of improving boyang's ss. I look forward to seeing how this story develops.

My dream: a truly clean LGC. I think it was record worthy and is the only sp that didnt break a WR at some point... poor left out LGC... the untamed child. I want new programs, but would love him to do LGC cleanly one day in exhibition, as he brought back PW at the world team event one year.

Oh yeah, that video is old for sure. I remember commenting while watching Gabby compete her Carmen that at *this point* in the music is where Yuzu will land his popped jump in the background. It made me laugh for days watching that clip...

I think it was nice of yuzu to bring has gold to TCC again to show everyone. It would be easy to leave it in Japan, but he brought it to share with the club..... or maybe he still loves it too much to be parted from it, lol!!!!

I was swarmed by yellow jackets as a child and stung multiple times on my face, which swelled up like crazy. It was terrifying.However, despite that traumatic event, I can say I like honey bees and bumble bees, they go about their business and keep to themselves... but hornets, wasps, yellow jackets... they are like fighter pilots, always aggressive. I shake when I hear there are asian varieties that are like, over an inch long. This is when I am thankful for cold Canadian winters. It keeps the critters tiny. But lol, yuzu...robins, bees, squirrels... wonder if he likes raccoons

Alena K. Yes, she is the one I am watching with the most interest too. I just rewatched junior world's and kurt was in love with her skating basically after only doing a spin and some steps. He was also impressed with trusova, but the awe in his voice was for Alena... and now after her easy 3A clip, which he mentioned during senior world's, I am sure his admiration has grown further. If she doesn-t grow to supermodel height, she will make a huge splash in seniors right away. She is very special.

Could be many reasons for a move.... maybe she realized she had to leave Japan because of the external distractions that may be hard to say no to, maybe she was upset with the coach after the lazy comments, maybe she wanted technical improvement, maybe she wanted Nathan's positive influence, maybe she just wanted to press the re set button after her failed olympic bid... and show change to the judges who seemed unimpressed with her no matter how she skated... or show everyone that she is serious about skating rather than just being ok with the fame she already has... I am sure we can imagine all sorts of things until she explains her decision. I wish her luck and hope she finds what she is looking for in California.
