The original quad king! To think, he was doing 3 quads in a program back in 2002 and that was considered bonkers. Heck, Yuzu's world record skate was 3 quads. Of course Yuzu excels in other areas as well which helped a lot.

 Apparently he's also the TS at our FS club here in NY

What does TS mean?

As for the clip with Adam....:cry::sadPooh::sadPooh:

Technical specialist, very fitting indeed

Just my thoughts, but I think Frank saw Gracie's problems were bigger than skating. He's had experience being unable to help someone struggling in the past (Christopher Bowman). Not that he was necessarily the best person to help her anyway. I hope she finds the best situation for herself.

It's very possible but the way he handled it afterwards was not right in my book. In general, I think it's actually very fair to be honest about things like these. Not all coaches can coach all students; even if they have numerous Olympic gold medalists it doesn't mean they'd be an ideal fit for everyone. Especially if we're talking about struggling mentally with some aspects of the skate, or even off ice. But as I said, how they parted was not pretty and I am sure did not help Gracie one bit.

Fingers crossed she is in a good place now, at least from the few photos I've seen she looks happier so maybe the move to Marina helped in that most important thing.

On another note, I am both excited to see Jason's Hamilton and wondering how that'll pass with international audience.

Oh my that gala perf was painful to watch. I couldn't continue after 20 secs :ohno:

I know there's still some time before the season starts for Gracie to make some adjustment but.. as of now her chances are looking slimmer and slimmer

Even if there was time, it is not an overnight process to get back into shape, get all jumps back, and get good consistency on them in time to go to Nationals and make a case for herself. I suspect that we'd need to see progress now. She didn't get like this because she was injured and couldn't skate.

 harsh, but, it's the truth and I agree :sadPooh:

it's gonna take a miracle

Haven't seen it posted yet, and in case anybody else is missing Mr. Farris and his beautiful skating... here is a video of him skating Give me love as an EX in a show (Skate It Forward). Not 100% there yet, obviously, but  anyway!

Bonus. As charming as always :pbow:
