[2018] ISU Coupe du Printemps (16.-18.03.)

It's so weird looking at these scores when I'm so used to seeing scores exceeding 300 combined.

That podium looks so high I doubt anyone could have, ahem, jumped onto the top, lol.

Congrats to the podium winners.

I think both Mai and Kaori do SOI Japan next, right?

Protocols for ladies' FS.

Shiraiwa got hit on a lot! Not a single lvl 4 on non-jump elements. And yes, the 2A1Lo2S combo doesn't worth much. It worth exactly the same as one 3Lo. And her failed 3Lz3Lo combo only got 5.93. A 0 GOE 3Lz worth more than that.

Sakamoto hit all her levels, but that fall resulting in no 3-jump combo, lost concentration on chsq, and the pop Lo hurt a lot. She also got a ! call on her Lz.

Lecavelier got one << and two < for her jumps, only got one lvl 4 for non-jump, and while her solo 3Lz did not get dinged for edge, it received -GOE.

And Mai. Only J4 (AUT) give +3 for her single 2A (with crazy transitions in and out) Based on the majority of the GOEs, Judges really are not that impressed with her:13877886:What's the girl gotta do???! At least the Tech panel gave her all the levels. Baby steps, I guess.:sigh:

I... don't really want to see the men's protocol. :2:
