I hope Ivett will skate a better FS. She's doing back-to-back competitions within a week, she must feel tired. Her stamina is still not there, but I am sure she will get stronger by the European Championships.

mens event free skate  for german nationals is starting (with Peter Liebers and Paul Fentz) (they are warming up right now). I think I'll comment a bit.

Okayi first up Fabian Piontek: 1fall, 1 Touchdown, 1or 2 Pops... but nice spins (yay biellmann) and spirals also nice music choice. costume: black Trousers, black shirt with red strips and sparkles Total score 148,06

Thomas stoll: 2 falls,... But nice transitions and nice Interpretation, Black and grey old schoolsuit like top but lots of sparkles,  and also nice music choice. Total score: 156,93

Catalin dimitrescu: 1 Pop, 1touchdown... Music is Western Film music and a Violin Version of cotton eye joe i think...costume also goes in that Direction a few sparkles on the lines. Total score (sp+fs): 173,42

Peter Liebers: 1 touchdown, 1 step out, one Pop(i think)... Nice Interpretation... No changes in music and costume... Total score: 207,59

I missed Peter Liebers, how did he skate?

Quite well actually. His free skate score was about 147 points. I think I will be happy whoever gets the olympic Team Spot between him and Paul.

Well Peter had a lead in points before this competition so...IdK....I don't know when the DEUs deadline is regarding the choice for the olympics...at least both get to go to europeans

ETA: Paul and Peter have been on a similar level up till now one week paul was better the other week peter was better  so it's a narrow margin and a hard decision. I don't know if it's possible but I wish that the DEU could nominate one for the singles competition and take the other as an additional skater for the team competition since germany is qualified for that...
