the blue ones are 2 too many, don't know which entries weigh more in terms of qualifying for the team event

Not all of the qualified teams might make the Team Event. The top 10 qualified countries with the most points (gathered through the top individual points in each discipline from last season's championships and this season's GP events) will be the ones making it to the Team Event. So only after the GP Final will you know which countries will actually be at the Team Event.

    There's 2 stages for the qualification. Stage 1 was last season's Championships points.

    This is the unofficial points table for the first stage.

     

    Stage 2 is the current Grand Prix series, and the best classified there will have points towards the second stage.

    This is the unofficial Team Event Final Standings table.

     

    The countries most expected to make it are:

    Canada

    Russia

    USA

    China

    Japan

    Italy

    France

    Germany

    South Korea

    Australia OR Israel

    yes, we have to wait as the teams will sort it out based on points yet to follow but I think Australia/Israel is the only true question.

    Small reminder - in about an hour and 45 minutes they are drawing the judges for the Olympics at Nebelhorn rink!

    I already like these two songs much, much better than all the stuff I've heard today at the actual competition. *shrug*

    LOL, I was wondering that myself. I'm guessing.... no.

     

    I totally wasn't planning on watching the gala, but now I cannot stop watching. I guess the JGP archived streams are gonna have to wait.
