It's a jump, jump, jump world. But even those looked forced.

Both have the shortcomings of typical Russian skaters, I'd say - clunky and clumsy is the word.

'Forced' is an excellent word for it.  I'd rather see the floppier teenagers - there's some hope that they'll get some core strength with maturity and stabilise the jumps- the stiff ones are unlikely to be able to acquire flexibility and improve the flow of their programmes.

Those are likely to be top contenders anyway... if all goes all right for them in the free dance. We'll see them tomorrow. Let's see how girl fare with one day to rest.

So would I, but with the emphasis of jumps even at the junior stage, floppier ones are more likely to drop out now. Unfortunately.

Yes, I hope I can wake up so early (i'll set my phone alarm lol) ... one day rest is important,  all the guys seemed a little off today!

too early. 5:30 for me... 4:30 for you.

It could be history though... all with Trusova maybe doing 4Sal. I have to think about this...

Maybe I too will let my insomnia decide for me

I don't care about the hour, I am watching this morning because I've been playing catch up for two days now. Guh. But terrible timing in re to work, at least it's Saturday tomorrow.

And Trusova has more personality than many Senior skaters, I really like her. Yes, she was a tad off at the start, nerves I am sure as this is the first big thing for her but very well done. I loved Nobu'd baby, Riko is also good.

The guys, well Egor is just 13, once he gets a bit more strength, it is going to be very interesting, I like him already and I think Eteri's doing good work with him.

Donovan is just lovely and please, someone get him to a coach with good rep.

And third, I loved the Aussie, Min, who though he messed up, has improved a lot.

Lets see if Trusova goes for the Sal tonight ... this morning. ... whatever.

I am sleep deprived so that should at least be interesting, if not fun  :dbana:

You watching too Fay? Good, good!

Hmmm. Head for bed now and get up in the middle of night?

I hope the girls keep us awake. They did that on Thursday. It was very exciting to watch them. More exciting than men, I'd say.
