Very late but I'm re-reading what I missed. Ah... no wonder Jeff's program put me in mind of Javis style, then, if David Wilson was the choreographer.

haha, no wonder!  the thread moved so fast during the show we commented watching it.

You felt something similar to Javi in Jeff's coreo?

Anyway, it's a bit disappointing we cant see his work to yuzu this season...

I'm sure Jeff and Yuzu will work on making chopin 3.0 really fresh and fit for the upcoming season :68556365: so we can look forward to that!

or they can make a new SP instead? lol oh well we'll see about that

Oh, that's nice.  Basically I'm positive with chopin 3.0.  Ballade is truly a masterpiece of figure skating history as well as a showcase of him.  If they add more nuance or something new to this pro, i wouldnt be happier!

Yeah, I felt like that particular program of Jeff put me in mind of Javi's style, but then you said David was the one choreographing Jeff's ex program, so the similar styles are explained, since David has choreographed for Javi for years now.

Stephane Lambiel's "戦場のメリークリスマス" was brilliant! A soothing but sad piano music piece and the style suits him!!

It truly was. I could rewatch that dozens of time because his movements are just wonderful and so purposeful.

With him, I get the same feeling I do with Oda - can you please come back?

I sadly missed her skating yesterday because I couldn't watch the broadcast from the start. I plan to watch the download of the whole show later today.

And her tweet is really nice. :)

Haha, okay, here we go:

The Makuhari show is over. I learned so much watching the professional skaters and my current sempai train and perform.

Thank you very, very much for all the presents!

For the record, this isn't a word by word "literal" translation; this is how the same meaning would be expressed in English.

Edit: "current sempai" in this case would be all the skaters who are currently still competing, not just the Japanese.

Thank you very much! She's a cute girl and a promising skater (waiting for that 3A, Rika, good luck!) :thankyou:

Anytime, if I have time. Just put "translation, please?" - or something like that - in the post. ;)

Just watched the second Chopin performance in Makuhari. Very beautiful, calm and mature skating indeed. He is so musical and skillful skater that he is able to interpret every note of the piece. I really liked his arms and the atmosphere. Chopin1&2 were great too, but he´s been progressing forward. Not the final version yet I believe.
