February 20, 20224 yr I know we worry about his ankle, but what Lae said is so true. He also needed emotional healing. It was good to see him happy, so now I hope he can get some rest and let his poor ankle heal too.
February 20, 20224 yr I don't trust auto-translation. Can anyone summarize what this article is saying?
February 20, 20224 yr Sorry if someone has already translated but this is a transcription and a very rough translation of Yuzu's comment after EX Spoiler Interviewer: Hanyu senshu, otsukaresamadeshita. Yuzu: Thank you. Interviewer: What kind of thoughts did you put into the Haru yo Koi at the Olympic exhibition? Yuzu: Well... Well... It is hard for me to clearly say what because I put too many thoughts into it. But having everyone watching my skate... I think I have been able to skate like this up until now because of everyone who watches my skate, and my performance would bear meaning because of these people watching it, so now, I truly want to thank everyone for that. Interviewer: Including such feelings... Um... What have you been feeling at this Beijing Olympics after men's FS until now? You have been skating your past programs at the practice rink? Yuzu: I had been strongly feeling like to do what I wanted to do, and the thing I could do at the moment at the Olympics, while people could watch me that way. That was a truly, truly happy moment for me, I think. Interviewer: Once again, what kind of experience, a competition was this Beijing Olympics to you? Yuzu: It made me think deeply about many things. Until now, I had many periods that I could not make any difference despite making efforts. Yuzuru Hanyu in your memories might be my successful self at Sochi or PyeongChang, but while competing I have hit rock bottom a number of times, in my own way. In such a sense, again, this time, I grew up and realized that life is not all about getting rewarded. Now I feel unrewarded, but I am blessed even if I am not rewarded. There are things that are unreasonable, but I will try my best to look forward and progress. Interviewer: Thank you for your beautiful performance. Yuzu: Thank you so much.. [NEWS]
February 20, 20224 yr He is dodging retirement questions but sounds like his desire for competing is not high anymore. Thank you very much ISU, go to hell.

Maybe he will wait until his ankles are properly diagnosed and treated before making any decision. It is wise of him to do so, but that doesn't mean I'm not stressed.

Well, I don't think competing with *checking notes* Yuma, Shoma, Nathan, Ilia, etc is very motivating, especially when there is no fair competition at all. But I really hope he continues for at least another season and finish everything with a massive pooh rain from fans.
February 20, 20224 yr He was wearing his heart monitor device for the gala performance? well, my fanyu experience says his condition isn't good~ time to log off

February 20, 20224 yr Haru yo koi was gorgeous as always Thank you Yuzu. It was nice to see him enjoying the gala practices and having fun in the gala, the finale. The rotational lift was great and in general it was just good to see how nice team China was to him! I hope these moments will help him healing emotionally Hopefully he will have a good rest now, may his ankle get better as soon as possible. Despite of the difficulties I feel grateful the he have us a beautiful Rondo and Ten to chi to, went for the 4A which was so close to fully rotated, then we could enjoy all the gala practice snippets in the past days, and now today beautiful Haru yo koi. I don't know when we'll see him next time but I'll look forward to seeing him.
