I need to rant over TXT's comeback, cause something is definitely wrong

TXTs mv still only has 3mil views. They got a steady 10mil for all the last comebacks. I don't believe for a second that a fandom suddenly lost 70% of their members. My yt algorithm should also show me the mv as soon as I open the page, but it doesn't. Even after putting TXT in the search mask, I have to scroll down until the MV pops up. That's not normal. There is talk that Hybe might have a shadowban on their chanel and a massive freeze/vanishing on views, cause katseye and LeSserafim might have had the same situation (i say might, cause i didn't see it and others say they saw it happen).......there are a lot of comments that are frustrated cause something is definitely not right, me as well, and sad for the boys. 

I will definitely look at what happens with other Hybe artists comebacks to see if there is a pattern.

 

Just for comparison and better understanding: xikers last mv (kq entertainment) did better then TXT's currently MV does and these boys play in venues that hold max 5000 people, and I think that was their largest venue on their tour.

 

It just doesn't add up.....

Well, that's what has been happening with BTS for years now. It's nothing new.

 

Someone might have managed to understand why that is and it all comes down to YT's algorithm + fan behaviour

The deleting of view counts, yes. But frozen over hours and the not popping up thing, that's new. At least I never had that with BTS videos🤷🏼‍♀️.

 

Edit:

The 24h are over and suddenly the view count is rising like one would expect it, over 300.000 clicks in the last 30min...

Will keep an eye on it.

I personally never had problems with getting notifications on YT whenever there was a new upload but I definitely am not being recommended anything from BangtanTV or Hybe (although I don't follow the channel because I don't want to be have an onslaught of updates from all their other groups that I don't follow) even though I hit like on every upload.

 

The thing is the algorithms on social media are being very strict. Any anomaly is considered a bot right away which affects how videos perform.

I see recommendations from bangtantv and also from txts yt channel, but hybe is like a blind spot. After putting txt and the mv name in for the fifth time, i finally see the mv when only searching for txt, on fifth position. If I don't search, I only see txt videos from their channel, but nothing from hybe. I know that wasn't the case during love language, so something happened in the mean time with the hybe channel, in my opinion.

I know, but the numbers are now climbing faster then they ever did during the first 24h. Pretty sure someone will figure out what new rules apply for the first 24, so we know how to adapt when bts has their comeback.

This has been happening to BTS forever. Both on BangtanTV and the HYBE channel.

 

Basically put, YT sees the spike in views for every new MV release as bot behaviour and filters the views. It's ridiculously annoying

I think the thing to learn from this is that we need to keep the streaming up for the first 48 hours instead of just 24

TXT set a massive sales record though.  YouTube will give me one MV to 10 "songs".  Who knows... it shakes out.

 

And i was way beat on this story - I hope they ail these people. Set an example.

Tammy, just FYI for Tampa...I read down the thread and it doesn't look like the problem is Florida weather so much as difficulté shipping from Korea in time for the sale b/c of weather there

I just listened to TXT's new album all the way through. Some beautiful tracks ( Bird of Night, Sunday Drive) but overall, kind of uneven.

 

And Upside Down Kiss just sounds downright suggestive... is it just me that hears it? It's like they're making bedroom plans

  Oh well... It'll be exciting to be a part of my first VIP experience. At least I won't put too big of a dent in my bank account. For a while, I thought I had to be there at 7 am and was planning a way to rearrange my whole sleep schedule but turns out check-in isn't until 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. I don't want to get there too late since if you don't check in by 5 you miss out but wondering if there's any benefit in being there earlier vs later beyond that
