A couple of posts to keep my spirits up while at the clown show of a wedding (in a clown show of a country... wow, so easy to be depressed).  Some Jin quotes and the threads is just somme fun out takes when In the Soop was recorded to remind us of what we miss so much.

Pretty sure I'm going to love this album. "I'll Be There" is a fun, catchy song but I honestly think it'll be my least favorite of the album. Really looking forward to track 6. What can I say, I'm a sucker for sentimental songs

And Jin has mastered the art of oozing sex appeal while revealing nothing.

Anyone else thinking Jin looks a bit like JK in the first GQ picture😅?

Does everyone know that you can vote via # on twitter as well?

The cynic in me wonders if these vote getting polls are a scam to get more engagement but I guess it doesn't hurt to try

Well, since three days when opening the voting I get a notification about how they monitor the votes and everything that doesn't seem right won't count to make sure only real votes count....or something along these lines. So, whatever the free votes giveaway is, not sure it will be effective🤷🏼‍♀️.

And, I will now vote for txt in the top ten fan choice category. Sorry rm and hobi, but they just dropped to ninths place and I know they will be absolutely disappointed and crushed if they don't get this award and I think that rm and hobi are more on the "it would have been nice, but it's fine" side of things.

Completely off topic but I wanted to share this. There are a series of clips on KBS' channel of Hwasa from Mamamoo and other artists performing in the streets of Palma de Mallorca (which is where Taehyung filmed Love me again and Slow Dancing). I think the blond one is an opera singer and the one in the pantsuit has an amazing voice.

Brings back so many memories. I used to live 5 minutes from here. The Cathedral with the world's best view.

Wow, you lived in Palma? I love mallorca, it's such a beautiful island. If I can get over my fear of flying, will definitely go there again.

The performance is great. Wonder if it's part of the show I'm a singer, but guess not, something similar maybe. They took different korean musicians to another country and made them do busking, waiting for the munich/regensburg episode where they performed in thurn&taxis castle.

By the way, Hwasa is cool, I love na, it's such a vibe😎.

I did :D

First time for 6 months in October 2008, then the crisis hit and I lost my job so I got scared and went back home to Argentina lol

Then the 2nd time in 2010 for a little under 4 years.

Had one of the best jobs of my life at the HQs of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, met the ex-tennis player Guillermo Vilas because he was besties with the Sales Manager.

Danced with Rafael Nadal during carnival while he was dressed as a tribes man (or whatever that was supposed to be).

Never lost my tan throughout those 4 years even though I hate the beach (read sand) and met wonderful people who are still my friends to this day. Last time I went to visit was in July 2022. It was really the best time of my life to be honest and every time I went back home for holidays I would get comments about how happy I looked.

After that I landed in London and I still wonder what the hell I was thinking... :poke:

If it wasn't for the buns I would save up and move back. I could do it technically but travelling with them on a plane (even if it is in cabin with me) would make me feel too guilty because of how anxious they get and I don't think they would enjoy much Summers there. Maybe one day... if I win the lottery and I can buy a £2.5 million villa and can hire a private jet for myself, my suitcase(s) and the little rascals xD

At the end of the day, I'm still a nomad at heart.

I've seen that before... I think it's part of King of Rookie, which was an early version of what later became Run BTS. They did a send-up of the national anthem montage that national TV broadcasters used to use to end their broadcast day.

I SO understand not moving or taking long holidays with pets because - the pets.  I HAVE to love someplace suitable for my two dogs.  It's a critical controlling factor.  And when I'd like to pick up and move to Jeju, it really is only the dogs that hold me back.  i think they'd like it there, but getting there impossible.  Ditto with taking them to Scotland or Nova Scotia.

The Grammys - I truly believe that American artists are simply intimidated by BTS, and the individual members.  Our guys have such a work ethic and try to perfect everything they present (JK, Jimin and Hobi especially).  All 7 will put in whatever time is required, any effort necessary to be the best they can be.  So many American artists are just lazy and go for the easy stuff.  They have to know that as a group and as individual artists, BTS are a league above.  (but glad Jimin won!)

Jin's referring to the fan sign event that Weverse just announced the raffle for - 50 ARMY will win the chance to ride the carousel at Lotte World with Jin... each person gets 1 rotation of the carousel around to chat to Jin while he signs their album. Sounds like a Run Jin episode, to be honest.
